I'm feeling quite relaxed and happy with life. I also plan to be more productive today; I'll probably go on a long walk, take a shower, do some chores, and then spend the rest of the day reading and meditating.

I failed to mention that the "solution" to the problem with my dad is "to make as if nothing happened", which is a crappy, idiotic solution to a problem. The awareness of the distrust I have for my dad is making it really hard for me to be happy.

Pretty annoyed that my laptop battery died on me in about an hour. It's easy to start doubting the battery gauge on this thing now.

 

It's also easy to feel grumpy when you've gotten cynical enough to believe that people simply can't understand what you say. This has led to many instances of self-censorship because just remembering this fact is frustrating enough. Go simple or go home.
