Clarity. I was going insane under the emotional and psychological pain, but I am feeling a little better after rationalizing the situation. Now I can understand the damage in this family. I am still severely traumatized, as well. But I can see the chain of cause and effect. Now to try to convince them to do some therapy. As they should have done more than twenty years ago. Still, the likelihood of recovery is almost null. But I have to try. It is the only right thing to do. That, or bringing it all down. I cannot repeat the mistake of my father. I owe it to that child. I owe it to myself.

On this page I have been mostly using 'brohoof' as 'sad'.

I'm OK, toes not hurting so much, but still a long way to go before they'd be anything like normal..... walking is a wee bit easier but not a lot... still need to lean on furniture and walls.....

Slightly tired going around blowing leaves. But it is done now so I don't need to care when the next storm arrives, the leaves won't blow into the electric fences (protecting my pet ducks from predators).

Feeling pretty good actually. I jsut learned that one of my art commissioners is struggling pretty bad with his mental health, and so I refunded part of his commission and said one of the icons I drew for him was a gift. It really made him happy, which in turn made me happy. I didn't need the money, and he had told me he used all his spending money on the commssion.

That's the only bad part about pets is that unfortunately they don't live as long as they should, when they say, "only the good die young" they were referring to animals in my book, though I know that's comparative and aging doesn't work like that for animals, most always keep their loving, youthful spirits, I'm so sorry for your loss, this is literally one if the hardest things to go through in life in my opinion, I'd do anything to see my girls(childhood dogs,) again, always just a reminder to cherish the time we have with them, but I do have faith that we will see our babies again...
