Such as Princess Celestia, Discord, Starlight Glimmer and so on. Which character originating from FiM do you see becoming recurring characters in future incarnations of the franchise? So far the franchise hasn't really had lasting staples - some G4 chracters are carried over in some form from G3 or remade versions of G1 ones, but I think you need more than one re-use to call yourself a "staple" - in which case the only qualifier is Spike. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I also would like G5 and other future generations to have their own Derpy as a tribute to G4, even if she's a background character rather than a franchise-stapling one. Stardust 641 July 15, 2020 Share July 15, 2020 Idk exactly which characters (and also species) are from other gens but Discord, maybe some of the dragons, bat ponies(I mean think of the merch ), pets for the ponies (cuz money money), griffins and other species will probs be back and maybe the characters to go with them or not depending on what they think.
