A lot of people are sharing their Spotify decades or 2019 Year in Review, so I figured, why not start a thread where we can post ours, for those who use or have used it in the past? You can either transcribe the info that Spotify gave you, or post screencaps of the images, or both!

I also listened to a lot of podcasts, 10967 minutes. Mostly Film & TV, but some Religion & Spirituality, and Society & Culture too.

I don't care for Spotify because I want to own my music, but I'm afraid I have used it extensively over this year as I just haven't had any money to keep buying the songs I want. =( So... I'll do this.

Top Artists:

1. Ben E. King
2. Sam Cooke

The rest of the three were all classical and early music artists. If I had to hazard a guess which composers were most played: Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Frideric Handel and Guillaume DuFay.

Top Five Genres:

1. Classical Performance
2. Classic Soul
3. Folk Rock
4. Progressive Rock
5. Early Music Ensemble

(I don't know why they added "performance" to classical and "ensemble" to Early Music)

Top Five Songs:

1. In Orbit - Wobbler
2. Requiem Op 48 - Pie Jesu - Gabriel Faure
3. I'm In the Mood for Love - Lenny Welch
4. O Salutaris Hostia in A-Flat Major - Charles Gounod

Looking at the earlier years, Steeleye Span dominated for me. But thanks to this year being the most active Spotify year for me, Ben E. King comes out on top even still. It'd be more accurate to look at my iTunes.

It seems that we share some similarities in music taste, even if I don't listen to one genre as much as you do.

I don't have spotify,

I use VKontakte for my music,

I found spotify wouldnt let me choose my songs (because I csnt afford to pay for premium)

 

This year I mostly listened to Years and Years, Shawn Mendes, Kaliopi, DJ Piligrim, Florida Georgia Line, and a few others I cant think of in he top of my head

I don't use Spotify. If I pay for music, then it's on physical media (records, tapes CDs). I also dislike paying for something continuously.

I listen to radio at work and the station plays 50s-80s music. Other than that I guess I have been listening to the same music I always do.
