mega thread Why you chose your user name.

Back in January 2008, I was on the phone with one of my best friends who I've been friends with probably since the 3rd or 4th grade or so. He had convinced me to sign up for an online game called My Lego Network (which I ended up having a lot of fun with - I even started replaying it a few months ago, but I got distracted and haven't logged in for several weeks). I decided to use the username "SupremeCommanderSturm." "Sturm" was the primary antagonist in a video game I really liked to play at the time, Advance Wars: Black Hole Rising. 

 

After that, aside from websites related to My Lego Network, I generally preferred to use the abbreviation "SCS." I especially prefer that nowadays, as I do not like having things like "supreme commander" or the names of antagonists in my username. However, I have grown attached to the "SCS" abbreviation, which is what I use for everything when I can. By this point I have pretty much completely disassociated it with what it stands for in my mind. "SCS" is now its own, independent name to me.

I was sitting and thinking of what username to pick. I spent like two hour just looking out of the window, trying to come up with something pony related that sounds ok.

 

I ended up with my current name because I like Pegasi and "Companion" sounded neutral and started with a "C" too.

I used Coffee123 as when I was a young'un, I was an utter ball of energy. And as we know, coffee makes you a tad energetic (especially when it has 2 tablespoons of sugar in it. Yum) And the 123 part is just because "coffee" was already taken.

Ha. Well it started out as SSOTF. I created it when I first started going online. SSOTF stands for Sailor Scouts Of The Future. Yes, a Sailor Moon thing.

 

Then as I got older I wanted to get away from the Sailor Moon. So I became Fixed With Ductape. I loved it. It's currently my Gaia Online screen name. 

 

A few years later I got tired of it and I wanted something different. At the time, I was obsessed with Halloween. Halloween.. Hallows Eve.. Ha.. ha.. get it?

Maxwell refers to the name of my flamboyantly gay side that my friends and I came up with. Back in 2007, my brother wanted me to make an account for this "adventure quest" game. We were struggling to think of a name that both sounded cool and was not taken.  After a while I got tired and said "this is giving me a tumor" so I typed that (and misspelled it)

And from then on Tumar was what I was called on the inter-web. It took me a while to stop saying it like "Tumor" and actually say it how it is spelled.

Antismurf is a name that I've associated with my online persona for a while now.  I'm not entirely sure of its origins though...  Come to think of it, it may have been a code name that I used at a laser tag place.  The 9001 comes from the 'over 9000' meme.

My name dates back all the way back to 2007 or 2008. One day, me and my friends went to play some online game I forgot the name of. The online games before this game was usually just my name with numbers which is pretty boring and all of that. So! I made a promise to make a new name.

 

While browsing some YouTube videos, I was watching some The World Ends With You and there, it kinda struck me that the letter "z" was pretty cool, so I wanted to make a name with "z" in my name. I thought for hours and then I thought of Storms. Instead of the "s", I used the "z" as you can tell from my decision. Next, since Storm was a very ordinary name, I needed to put something else in front of it. Because the game I was going to play involved strategy and such, I used the word "invader" to show that I want to get take them all down.

 

After then, it has been my name ever since I think it really catches me well.

I got this name from.. wow, i think it's about 7 years old, when I decided to use each first letter of my full name and add an ''X'' to it just because it looked cool.

Back when my username was Urdnot, Pinkazoid started calling me "Urdie," and many other members soon jumped on the bandwagon.

 

One day, me and a couple of other users were talking in a random status. I was talking about how much I loved Pinkeh, and somebody else was talking about PewDiePie. Meanwhile in another status Pinkazoid kept on saying Urdie.

 

I don't know what happened but my brain said: "UrdiePie is best ship." I quickly typed it up, and replied to the status. Later on I realized that UrdiePie rhymed with PewDiePie. I hate PewDiePie, and Urdnot x Pinkeh is definitively best ship, so I decided to make it my username.

 

So now every time you see my username UrdiePie, you think "Urdnot x Pinkeh Pie<3" and "God, that guy must really hate PewDiePie..." Which are both true statements.

Eggnog comes from the Fairly Odd Parents Christmas special.  The Dr. part is to make it sound evil.  It's my irl nickname and people have put any and all spins on it. My bff calls me Nogg.

There is this band I like a lot called airbourne so that is partly where I got my username. The "gone" part comes from a song from AC/DC called "Gone Shootin ". So since AC/DC and airbourne are my all time favorite bands it only seems natural that I combined them together. Plus I have always loved things that fly *you name it*.
