Opinion: Rarity Unlikely to bare foals

I personally do not see Rarity ever bringing her own children into the world. I've thought about this recently and imo I feel like she won't have any kids. And honestly I do not think she even likes kids all that much to begin with. She straight up directly refused to babysit the cake siblings in babycakes and always seems to get annoyed with foals like her younger sister.

 

She can be nice sure but she doesn't seem interested in having a child herself.

Closest I can imagine is her making a children's clothing line but eventually just focus it towards pageant contestants.

Maybe not. She's generous but also very self-interested as well. I think she'd make a wonderful mother, though. But I can also see her not wanting to dive into a family life.

I think Rarity could be great as a mother, but out of the Mane Six, I see her as the least likely to have foals. Considering her line of work, I feel that she would have way too much going on to spend a lot of time with a child. Of course, it's possible to be flexible with work and family life, but that could be difficult under certain circumstances.

My friend used to stay as far aeay from children as possible. He's a father now. I'm pretty sure he would murdelize me or anybody else who would dare to hurt his daughter in any way, shape or form.

People usually hate dealing with other people's children, but once their own come into play they change diametrally.

And let's face it, saying that Rarity had no romantic interest would be a blatant lie

As some know, I’ve successfully navigated raising two children to adulthood. Growing up myself and when I was a young adult, I was not a fan of other people’s children. When I had my own kids I adored them, while still maintaining a general annoyance with other children in general. I used to joke, “I love my kids — MY kids. Other kids? Not so much.” There is a lot of truth in that, and it’s hard not to judge the parenting approaches that other people used when you see uncorrected behavior and poor attention. 
 

 Ironically I’m actually really really great with kids in general, even though they usually annoy me.

I can see that, though I think It's more because she'll probably stay single. Most of the romantic relationships she's pursued were for superficial reasons. Blue Blood because he was a noble. Trender Hoof because of his influential status. And ultimately it's not for purely selfish reasons. She boosts her social standing, she boosts the profile of her fashion brand. In essence, she's married to her work. 

Outside of all that, we don't really see any other signs of romantic pursuit. But then again, we don't really see that from any of the mane 6.

And on the other hoof, I'm close friends with people that love kids, kids love them, but they don't have any of their own because...they're gay!

I don't think Rarity is gay, but she certainly sacrifices a lot for her little sis, and she wouldn't do any less for her own kids. So I don't know...whether you're good with kids or not just doesn't occur to most people when they love someone...things just fall into place when they need to because, well, that is the power of love.

I would suggest that maybe when she gets older its possible that she might adopt and guide a up and coming fashionista in order to secure her legacy and pass on her knowledge.
