Crystallize 279 May 16, 2013 Share May 16, 2013 Adblock for YouTube, the StumbleUpon toolbar, centre YouTube, YouTube ratings preview and YouTube subscription default. All on Google Chrome. Starshine 16,334 May 16, 2013 Share May 16, 2013 Adblock Plus, Ghostery, Free Download Manager plugin, After the Deadline, and NoScript. This site is whitelisted on the blocker ones I've been spooked by advertisements too many times not to go around without all of that blocking add-ons. Fridge 382 May 16, 2013 Share May 16, 2013 (edited) I use Adblock edge, Adblock plus pop-up blocker, greasemonkey (ponyhoof script), pixl grabber, ponify, firebug, speed dial, stumbleupon, and YouTube to mp3. I've tried chrome but then discovered that google are evil and it was just awful to use and don't get me started on IE. Betez 1,734 May 16, 2013 Share May 16, 2013 All I have is AdBlock, as far as I know. There may be one or two add-ons that I don't know about, but I'm pretty sure there aren't. After all, I use Firefox. ferrousphantom 40 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 I like using an add on that allows me to choose sites that i cant access. I can easily take them off the list whenever i want, its really great if you procrastinate on the internet a lot. Whenever you need to get work done block your favorite sites, and don't unblock them until your done.
A Blithering Div 247 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 Ghostery, Lastpass and stumbleupon. Ghostery can block ads but its more of a blanket feature as it blocks things that track your web usage. Lastpass for putting all of my passwords into one attack vector and stumbleupon for some random internet goodness. All of which are in Firefox. I can neither confirm nor deny myself being the cause of electrical related malfunctions. Anyways, you wouldn't happen to have a jar of replacement magic smoke would you? Jokuc 8,174 November 14, 2013 Share November 14, 2013 (edited) Alright I've been looking for this thread heh. Anyways, I though I'd share which add-ons I am using for Firefox. (Left to right) Rainbow Color tools. This one gives you a color picker inside your browser, it also copies the hex code do your clipboard. Perfect when you're making designs or similar Now there are a few of these but I have tested a lot of them and this one is the best. It has many neat features (which I never use) but it's the most simple one at the same time. Download Helper. This is basically a video/audio downloader addon. For youtube and such. Next up is Dark Backgrounds Switcher. It lets you change from light page to dark page, dark page to light page etc. The websites will look a bit weird but sometimes it is really useful. Last is Ghostery. This one makes it possible for you to block trackers. Ghostery automatically detects trackers on a website and lets you block which ones you want so you will know which sites that are tracking you or not. oh not last.. nvm. I am also using an addon called Copy as Plain Text, which lets you right click and copy a text without any weird coding in it. lomk 20,663 November 15, 2013 Share November 15, 2013 I like to use the add-ons that let the NSA spy on me ...oh wait, I just got a text that said you don't need an add-on for that. Well...goodbye virusinstaller.exe that I heard was being distributed directly from the NSA's website Really, though, I don't use any ad-ons at all. They just bloat my browsers and with my SSD I'm all about asking myself how fast I can launch stuff lol I refuse to let go until you're impressed. I refuse to let go until I'm depressed.
