Character system overrides new characters when replies merge

Whenever I make a reply one after another (if I’m the most recent replier in my Ask a Pony thread), character changes don’t save. Sometimes I want to swap characters in the next reply but it automatically keeps the one from the last post. Is there a possibility that this can be resolved?

Hm. Possibly. The solution may be changing the time for merging overall. 
 

How soon between posts would you say you take when using the different characters?

The other day, my ask thread got lots of replies, so I responded almost instantly to things, which I’ll admit was not too good on my part

I’ve figured out how to solve the issue
