Between this and the puzzles, I'm starting to think Hitch will be a mix of Applejack and Spike.

I said in a thread about Hitch that I don't think he'll be put on a rung lower than anypony else, but the plushes seem to indicate otherwise...

Agreed, I tend to stay away from plushes because, 

#1. Terrible quality
#2. WHERE IS HITCH?? 

So yeah, honeslty Zip's hairstyle is so messed up on the plushes. Like I already like Zip, so that is a big NO

They look absolutely disgusting.  The eyes are stone cold and the faces are way too square.  If they’re going to do it, they should probably do it right.

Don't like the exclusion of Hitch, otherwise, they just look average. Hate how MLP official plushies never look that great.

They look fine? I mean you're gonna have to get fanmade stuff to get quality plushes, but these still look better than most of the official G4 plushes. G4 wasn't exactly a high point in official plushes either

Perhaps its because I work with 3d programs for steel and such but if you have a cartoon in 3d, shouldn't you have the models and just be able to transfer them to production ?

Or is that what happened here?

I mean it wouldn't take that many changes to make them look a lot better.

Considering the target demographic, it’s not surprising. I suppose Hitch the the G5 Applejack . I’ll be concerned if the characters are appealing enough to buy merch . However, I may have to lay down as well as I’m running out of space, despite my late start of my pastel horse/human collection

Granted, it's not plushies, however, I didn't even know of Hitch having a deputy partner until I saw this. Glad to finally see some step-ups.

They look okay..but I think I'm going to wait on the Build a Bear ones, if they're planning to make them!  Although, I would like to buy Zipp since she looks pretty adorable.
