I guess that could have been easily verified with a quick scroll down the homepage with a calculator handy tallying up the number of replies lol

 

orrrr not, I added them all up and got 422,601 replies but are deleted posts counted? Or replies in a topic that happens to get moved still count for the original forum it was posted in, thus double-counting? DUN DUN DUNNNNN

Well that's a given honestly, every forum everywhere has people who join and never come online as well as lurkers. 'We' may not all be active but the 'site' has the number of registrations. Whether to lurk or forget and never come back, at some point, 3000 people (or bots we won't go there) decided 'hey, imma join this forum'.
