Well, I would not say that it was a real date. I once met a man in the german brony/furry fandom which I really liked. We also met in real life while a brony meet up, but at the end, we both decided to not come together because of the big distance and the fact that I made bad experiences with long distance relationships (one was also a brony but I never met him in real life why I also would not call this a date).

To be honest the show hasn’t been a big part of my life since 2012-ish though. I mean I may have met other people who also liked the show (either friendship or romantic), but it’s not like we talked about it all the time or even at all. Plenty of people are involved in a bunch of different fandoms/interests.
