Upon close investigation @Dynamo Pad and @Aurora Glimmer Caramel would discover that both walls also had cutie marks. The one on the left had Caramel's own, heart shaped symbol. The one on the right had gaming pad that looked exactly like the one on Dynamo's flank. As two ponies approached closely suddenly there was a sharp pull that has put them both in front of their respective walls with mushrooms. As they try to step away they find themselves unable to do so, their gaze focused on mushrooms instead.

In front of Caramel lights started appearing on mushroom caps. They seemed to follow a pattern that kept repeating itself. 

Yes, this looks more fleshy and like a slime, it also has an unusual colour.

And that smell is just gross.

As Blue wakes up he notices that other ponies are already split into three groups. His match, Raven seems to have taken the middle path along with Roswell. They seem to be looking at something, but Tao can't quite see what it may be from such a long distance. To the left went Vibrant along with Dynamo Pad, Caramel, Skylight and Nebel. All that Nocturne Blue can see is that Vibrant suddenly seemed to become quite defensive, as if preparing for some imminent danger. 

Wolf Tracks and Saffron are close. They seemed to mistrust ponies they ended up with for reasons unknown to Blue. 

What path will Nocturne Blue take? That remains to be seen as he seems to have fully regained conciousness.

Wind Walker explored the corridors, but found them to be repetitive with no specific features standing out in any of them. Whatever she was hoping to discover through exploration seemed to evade her. She still heard distant voices of Roswell and Raven, but found herself unable to recognize what were they saying. Maybe it's best to go back and join them?

A smile slowly forms on Nebel’s face as he hears where Dynamo lives. “Oh, I live in Ponyville, too. That works out quite conveniently. I’m glad that you’re open to playing, having more ponies in the session always makes it more fun. I can introduce you to the rest of my friends some time and you can see how you like it. If not, we can always do our own thing sometime. I agree that being able to support your teammates is a great feeling indeed.”    

“Understood.” Nebel gave a brief but sincere nod in response to Vibrant. Nebel could sense his nervousness and make a note to himself to keep a close eye on him. In addition, he took turns between watching Dynamo and Caramel solve the button puzzle, watching the parasprite fly back and forth above them, and keeping an eye out for any movement outside of the room. He had confidence that the two could figure out the game that would hopefully get them out of here, or at the very least allow them to move closer to freedom.

For some healing potions, food and some tea." She would begin brewing up some materials from plants around the healed tree later on for the potions. For now, she would sit with @Astral Souland combine her potion mixtures with his tea. Bringing in some of the flowers into a vase to place at the center of the rustic table. Sure, the place didn't look very elegant, but she still wanted her guests to feel welcomed. They were here because of her, afterall.... "Everyone, please take a moment to retreat and recover. You did very well in keeping yourselves in tact." She'd then smile at the little filly @Silverspark184 and @Sycofear13 "And it looks like somepony learned a valuable lesson in sharing, thanks to @Sophie H. from what I've heard." She smiled, her eyes narrowing fondly.

Silverspark: did not want to leave her partner and new friend @Sycofear13 Cali but she was curious about this gem that she has been hearing about and she love learning about gems as well as art and magic so continue to Follow @Princess Silky quietly as she glided over the trees checking for signs of changlings making sure she was not being followed herself "

He looked around himself to ensure his companions are with him. At his side he saw @Skylight Scintillate and @GeneralDirection Nebel. The rest of ponies seem to have stayed behind. "No time to retreat, we need to make our stand here" he thought to himself. He realized he's unarmed, unless his own guitar counts as a weapon. Without his bow he finds himself unable to do much. Oh well, he still must do his best. He's not alone. In times like this though he wishes Star Silk was here. She was always very resourceful in such situations.

He looked at the two ponies. "Let's be vigilant. Something's up". He looked at parasprite still flying around, but it seemed to just keep looking at them, occasionally repositioning itself in the air. He was surprised by how... calm, even happy Caramel seemed to be. 

 

As he got closer, Dynamo took notice of the wall with the mushrooms had his cutie mark. He wondered if it was always there or if someone had made it from memory. Without any warning, Dynamo felt a sharp pull that dragged him in front of the wall with mushrooms. "What in Equestria!?" He exclaimed, trying to turn around and run, but found himself being unable to. No mater how hard he tried, he couldn't budge an inch. The only thing he could move was his eyes as his head was frozen in place. "Uh...guys!? Does anypony know what's going on? I'm not able to move!" He called out to the others, his heart beginning to pick up the pace in concern. As he heard Vibrant's response, the gaming unicorn gasped. "A trap!? T-This was a set up? T-That just can't be, c-cant it?" He wondered, remembering how kind the parasprite had been to them. He still wondered how such a creature was able to talk, but it wasn't like what he had learned in school with Skylight.

As she finished speaking and would look up from her book, Caramel would feel the sharp pull towards the wall that had her cutie mark etched onto it. 

After carefully studying the mushrooms, she'd gasp in excitement "oh my gosh! It's like that old game Simon Says, where you have to memorise a pattern of buttons then repeat it" she says, doing her best to follow along, "you asked before about if I had any favourite games? As a filly, this one was an absolute favourite"

For a moment parasprite's attention shifted to other ponies. It noticed especially @Skylight Scintillate and Vibrant Grove with their ever watchful eyes. In a way all of this felt new to the parasprite too. The care it received from Caramel, the trust those ponies seemed to have given it. Parasprites are infamous due to that one incident that happened in Ponyville yet here it experienced nothing, but kindness. As those thoughts ran through little creature's mind it kept its wide, innocent smile.

The room still remained peaceful. At the entrance Vibrant seemed on edge, gathering his companions as if preparing a defense. Other than that its colorful atmosphere was almost soothing despite the entrapment. 

 

Wondering if Caramel was having any better luck than he did, he stared at the mushroom caps in front of him. His eyes fixated on each mushroom cap, but wondering what this was all about. As he heard Caramel's voice calling out to him and the others, he had learned the purpose of the game. "S-Simon Says?" He asks, before hearing the pink parasprite chiming in about the test. "So, then that means that we have to try and complete the challenge together as a team?" He asks, wondering if completing the challenge would allow the two to be set free from being stuck. "I do remember asking what kind of games you liked to play @AuroraGlimmer Caramel, but I didn't know you were into Simon Says. I was more of a Boop it kind of gamer." He would say, before the combination of lights began to appear on his mushroom caps. With how fast the appeared in a sequence, he had to blink as that was faster than he thought. As he was about to press the button, he suddenly stopped. Feeling panicked as he wasn't sure which one it was. Hovering over one of the mushroom pads, he pressed, before the white dots on the pads flashed red. Blinking in both surprise and confusion, he watched as the pads returned to the original colors. However, the pads weren't flashing any patterns anymore. "Uh...C-Caramel? Are the light's flashing for you on your side? I think I made a mistake and hit the wrong button, b-but I'm not entirely sure."

Whatever kind of magic that was used to twist and change the maze must have affected the parasprite to be able to speak to us."

Perking his ears slightly from Skylight's whisper, Dynamo had listened to her thoughts on Caramel being a changeling. "I do recall a sort of flicker where I thought her mane and her legs had changed. However, I wasn't sure if that was just my imagination or not." He responded back in a low whisper. "I think I remember hearing about that in class, but I don't recall changelings had used the emphasis of the 's'. Why do you ask, Sky?" He wondered if Skylight thought that they shouldn't trust Caramel, or something else along those lines. He couldn't explain it, but from the way that they talked to each other since they met, Dynamo felt like he could trust Caramel. Speaking of the chocolate mare, he raised his eyebrow in surprise at the mention of Twilight's School. "You've been to the School of Friendship before? I don't know if I've asked you, but where do you live Caramel? If you don't mind me asking, of course. I recently moved to Ponyville, but I don't think I've seen you around town. I think I saw the one named Ocellus with a bunch of other students, but I wasn't sure which student was who." He would say, smiling as her giggle was like music to his ears.

Upon arriving, the group was greeted by a room. The room that the parasprite had happily entered without a second thought. Taking a deep breath, Dynamo had entered the room, before being greeted with a wondrous sight. Within the room, the walls were covered with moss and grass that looked almost new. A complete opposite from the walls they noticed within the maze. Even the mushrooms around them looked bright and colorful. All the while looking like they had buttons like a controller. "Oh, wow. If I didn't know any better, then I thought we were in a secret gaming room of sorts. This place look really cool, in my opinion." He turned in place to marvel at the sights, before stopping in place. Turning to Caramel, he couldn't help himself in chuckling at her pun. "That was really funny, Caramel. I'm the type of pony who loves puns, so that was really nice." He chuckled once more, before blinking in realization. Looking towards Vibrant, he gave a sheepish smile, before it morphed into an apologetic expression. "No offense, of course, Vibrant. I'm really sorry." He would say, looking back to the chocolate mare. "That could be possible. Although, if so, then how did her magic not reach this place. Unless there was a sort of protective spell barrier that stopped her magic in its tracks." It was a bit of a stretch, but he didn't have a lead to go off of.

As Caramel got our her book about mushrooms, Dynamo had looked over to see the parasprite, who had been hovering in between two walls. With the way it looked, the gaming unicorn had seen the smile that beckoned them over. "Hey, Caramel?" He asks, turning his attention back to her to grab her attention. "I don't know the exact reason, but I think the parasprite is calling us over. Did you want to check this out together?"

"Well a board game I like playing is Takenoko, but that's the only one I can remember off of the top of my head. And I like playing Ogres and Oubliettes too. I like to plays a wizard type character usually, but with a twist. You know how I love to use baked goods as a weapon, so my characters usually have that ability too," Skylight said, glad to be bonding with her old friend again, while also getting to know Nebel a bit more. 

"As for that parasprite, I don't trust it. I trust Caramel though. And this room is really strange," Skylight said as she glanced around, trying to analyze it's magic. "Something seems off about how everything seems to relate to Dynamo and Caramel..."

Especially if you’re able to support your teammates.” He concluded, before nodding at the invitation. “I’d be happy to do either option if you’re okay with me joining. It’s definitely been some time since I’ve played Ogres and Oubliettes, but I know I can’t pass up the opportunity.” He would say with a kind smile. 

"Oh cool! I live in Canterlot, but visit Ponyville frequently. We should definitely meet up more often and maybe play Ogres and Obuliettes," Skylight chimed in.

"Why did you lead us here? How do you know that this will help us escape? And why are you so cheerful when we are trapped like this? How did your wing heal so quickly? And how are you able to talk to us? You definitely seem like you know a lot more then you are letting on. What are you hiding from us?" Skylight questioned the parasprite.

"I knew there was something sus about that parasprite!" Skylight remarked. "I got my baguette bread. And glitter. Lots of glitter!" Skylight said, pulling out a baguette bread out of thin air while taking up a defensive position and continuing to glare at the parasprite.

“Ah, great, I’m glad you like it too, Skylight.” He says with a smile. “I’m, uh, not much into video games personally. I just stick to board and card games for the most part. I can’t say I’ve ever heard of Takenoko, mind explaining what that is?” He asks, hesitating though once he heard about Skylight using baked goods as combat weapons. “Uhhh, ok, bread doesn’t exactly sound like a good thing to attack somepony with, but ok, you do you.” His smile returning. He doesn’t exactly know Skylight very well yet, so perhaps later things will make more sense. “Canterlot, huh? I used to go there quite often when I was younger, not anymore though.” He explained, his mood dipping a bit. He doesn’t seem to want to discuss this further and the conversation continues.

He raises an eyebrow at Skylight’s question. “Well, there’s definitely something going on here. I agree that some of the things that we have seen since we got down here have been a bit too coincidental. But, aside from wandering around this maze cluelessly, I don’t see much of an alternative. I also feel that sticking together will give us the best chance of getting out of here sooner.”

Caramel would frown, "I think you are all right here, things just aren't adding up" she would say, then use her basic telepathy to only speak to her companions without the Parasprite hearing "This Parasprite is very strange indeed, the healing was too quick for my liking and..it can speak, very, very abnormal for a Parasprite.. it is also very strangely intelligent for a Parasprite" she then directs her thoughts towards Vibrant "You're right, this certainly feels like a trap, but I will do my best to get us out of this, as I feel responsible, being the one to follow this..thing here".

Caramel would then hear Dynamo speaking and look over to him, nodding and giving him a reassuring smile "It's okay Dynamo, we got this, try not to focus too much on it, just try to follow my lead, I am sure we will get this" she says to him, still smiling at him "Try not to panic, here, I'll tell you a bit about myself to distract you from the current situation while we play" she says, beginning to play again, "First of all, I do like Boop it as well, that was a fun game, I had a lot of..alone time, as a filly" she'd say and then think of something ele "I am originally from Manehatten, but my dad thought it would be a good idea to enrol me into the School of Friendship to help me make friends...and I did, though I was a few yours younger and i a few years below Ocellus and her friends. WE hang out every now and then" she'd say, smiling and tapping out the patern with her hoof, then drection her thoughts to Skylight "Thank you for your trust, Skylight, I promise to get us out of here"

Raven looks at the plants and sees an odd gem. She tries to pry the gem loose. She feels a shock and in her mind flashes dark visions. They seem like memories, but she can't distinctly recall them. As if in a dream, she just knows these things, but couldn't say when and where they happened.

A laughing, demonic figure. Whispers, "you are the vessel. Through you we shall pass." Shadowy figures.

Then she began to recall further. Her mother, a unicorn, was taken to become the "receptacle" for a child of an other worldly being. Thus Raven would be the "vessel." Raven has suppressed memories which were coming back to her.

Amidst normal memories of a normal childhood, there were gaps that were being filled in. Journeys to forbidden temples. Strange rituals. Promises of great wealth and fortune. Strange friends of her mother telling her what a special child she was. Training her in magic, but instructing her to not show other ponies that magic.

Now she recalled the day she ran away from home. It was just a couple weeks before some important event, which her mother only referred to as "the awakening."

"I knew there was something sus about that parasprite!" Skylight remarked. "I got my baguette bread. And glitter. Lots of glitter!" Skylight said, pulling out a baguette bread out of thin air while taking up a defensive position and continuing to glare at the parasprite.

"Do you get the feeling there's something sus going on?" Skylight asked Nebel.

The parasprite would become visibly more nervous with @Aurora Glimmer trapped along with @Dynamo Pad. Combined with further pressure from @Skylight Scintillate, who clearly was being suspicious, its look became more... sad. 

The parasprite, becoming more serious landed on the ground and begun to change in front of everypony... the figure now replaced with the changling form of @ChrysalisM

After a white flash a changeling stood before those gathered where the parasprite stood.  It was missing a wing, and had a single starch white eye. It looks around a bit sheepishly and takes a few moments before speaking. "I know you all probably are mad right now, but hear me out. Please." The changeling than seems to regain an element of composure. "First of all, my name is Cimex, but feel free to call me Ix. I haven't been in the reach of Equestria for a while, rather worlds apart, and the last contact I had was during the wedding. I need not say which. Needless to say, I didn't exactly think that high of ponies. Still, since I came back, with a much broader view than I had before, I found the state of affairs was much different than I previously had experienced. I took this job out of loyalty to my queen (as much of an old hag as she is), but I really couldn't lead you to your dooms. I'm Chaotic Good for Myhriss's sake!"

 

Ix than kneels before you. "I'll take whatever consequence you feel is necessary in light of my actions, and surrender myself to your mercy."

A laughing, demonic figure. Whispers, "you are the vessel. Through you we shall pass." Shadowy figures.

Then she began to recall further. Her mother, a unicorn, was taken to become the "receptacle" for a child of an other worldly being. Thus Raven would be the "vessel." Raven has suppressed memories which were coming back to her.

Amidst normal memories of a normal childhood, there were gaps that were being filled in. Journeys to forbidden temples. Strange rituals. Promises of great wealth and fortune. Strange friends of her mother telling her what a special child she was. Training her in magic, but instructing her to not show other ponies that magic.

Now she recalled the day she ran away from home. It was just a couple weeks before some important event, which her mother only referred to as "the awakening." 

*Roswell looks at Raven with concert as he runs over to check on her*

Raven, are you alright?

Vibrant would look with visible confusion and surprise as a baguette suddenly appeared in Skylight's hooves. "What?" was the only thing he was capable of saying, normally he'd start laughing, but given severity of the situation they're in, he was simply speechless.

Vibrant would become more vigilant, hearing trotting sound from the distant, not aware that they belong to @The Wife of LawWolf Tracks and @Dark HorseSaffron. His attention, however quickly shifts towards a sudden flash of light and a change in parasprite's appearance.

"A changeling!" Vibrant would shout in surprise and outrage. "What do You want? What do You all want from us, invading Princess Cadance's wedding wasn't enough for You?!". His pose was defensive, expecting an attack any moment. He faltered though seeing that the changelling is kneeling before them. "You better explain Yourself and do it fast, changeling".

Caramel would frown, "I think you are all right here, things just aren't adding up" she would say, then use her basic telepathy to only speak to her companions without the Parasprite hearing "This Parasprite is very strange indeed, the healing was too quick for my liking and..it can speak, very, very abnormal for a Parasprite.. it is also very strangely intelligent for a Parasprite" she then directs her thoughts towards Vibrant "You're right, this certainly feels like a trap, but I will do my best to get us out of this, as I feel responsible, being the one to follow this..thing here".

Blinking in surprise to hear Caramel’s voice in his head, he listened as she gave her thoughts of both the situation and the parasprite. Closing his eyes, a single thought ran through his mind. ‘Is this my fault? Should I have not followed the parasprite?’ He thought, feeling guilty of as his failures in the game weren’t helping either. It was hearing Caramel’s voice that caused him to gasp. “C-Caramel?” He uttered out, listening closely to her words of encouragement. He couldn’t understand why, but hearing her words made him want to believe in her and their teamwork. It wasn’t that he doubted her, but more so if doubting himself. 

“O-Okay. Let’s do this, Caramel. Together.” He would say as he listened to her voice. “I-I do know how you feel in being alone. I…I didn’t really have many friends when I was growing up. It wasn’t until I met @Skylight Scintillate and some other students, that I managed to make friends. I’m originally from Fillydelphia, but I went to Canterlot for Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns. After graduating, I went back to Fillydelphia for a bit, before moving to Ponyville.” He explained, listening more and more as he continued. “I remember visiting Manehatten, but I don’t think we ever met. I remembered meeting Silky when competing in a tournament, but she and I became best friends.” He smiled, feeling nostalgic. “Since I’ve been to Ponyville, I don’t remember if I’ve seen you. Do you live at the school, or are you a resident around town?” He asks, before his turn came back to him.

Taking a deep breath, he recalled the things he and Caramel talked about. Even her words of encouragement stayed in his mind and close to his heart. Lifting a fore hoof, he pressed the buttons, while keeping a close eye on the pattern. Watching as the lights had faded, he watched with bated breath as there was no red light to show he failed. “Hey, Caramel? I think I did it! Is the pattern back to you?” He asks, smiling as his heart felt lighter

Stage 2: Mossy Wall Divide

As the ponies would gather -- the silence of their confusion would be shattered with a growl that immersed from the skies.
The presence of someone's eyes confirmed as the voice would finally speak with a pretentiously booming authority!

"Your little antics are enraging me! You THINK that because you've won over one our WEAKEST links...." She'd narrow her eyes to make it personal with Cimex, "That that somehow gives you some kind of power?! You're all below me in power and your pursuit of silly freedom will be all for naught." She'd cackle maniacally. "I have hundreds -- millions of allies below me to ensure you remain in your doom -- FOREVEERRRR!"

She'd then stop for a moment to notice Caramel and then wince with a snarl before retreating back into the dark cloud from whence she had emerged.
The black cloud would dissipate. The air would only slightly improve and then it was as if no one was even there....
