What background pony could make a potentially interesting member of the main cast?

Especially for a hypothetical sixth generation? Let's say it's an entirely new continuity with a different main cast of ponies. Which background pony from Friendship is Magic that became popular do you think could be elevated into a full-blown member of the leading group? And what do you think they would be like in terms of personality?

I think Lyra and Bon-Bon could both be interesting additions. Bon-Bon has the S.M.I.L.E agent thing going on that would be really interesting to expand upon more. And seeing more slice of life style adventures with her and Lyra would be really cute too I think. In my head I imagine Bon-Bon being a less dramatic, more daring and adventurous Rarity. Lyra could be like the straight mare of the group maybe, kinda like Applejack is sometimes.

One background pony I think would make an interesting main pony would be Octavia. She would be portrayed as uptight and stoic to contrast with the overdramatic personality of Rarity. However, she would display emotion at times. I imagine Octavia would come from a wealthy family in Canterlot.
