As he wiped away his tears, Dynamo looked over to Shiny. Nodding as what she had said, the gaming unicorn had taken another breath and tried to assess the situation. 'Shiny is right. We can make sure that Silky and Vibrant are okay. There's got to be a way for us to get them back.' Dynamo thought, blinking in surprise as he heard the intensity in her voice. He felt a slight chill in his spine, before hearing the joyful tone that replaced the previous tone. He would file what happened as not getting Shiny angry and/or on her bad side. Looking up at Discord, Dynamo gasped softly at the mention of the other's being safe. He did wonder if Fluttershy was okay with her animals being scared, but she must have talked to Discord about not taking things too far. "If you wanted a cup of water, then you could have just appeared and asked." Dynamo narrowed his eyes slightly as he didn't expect that response from Discord. All the while, levitating a cup of water for the Draconequus to take. Even though he drank from a glass of hot water.

Dynamo's ears had perked, closing an eye from the loud trumpet being played by the Draconequus. Hearing that Shiny was correct, however, caused Dynamo to look up in surprise. Seeing Discord snapping his fingers to wear a wedding dress all the while, holding a bouquet of flowers. Tossing the bouquet back, he saw @Ice Princess Silky <3 SIlky, @Sir Hugsalot VIbrant and a giant bucket of water beneath them as they fell into the fray. "Silky! Vibrant!" He tried to run to catch them, but @Shiny Silvermoon was right on their trail. As he heard Discord mention about the "joke", the gaming unicorn stopped as he started putting two and two together. "Wait a minute...poison joke!?" Dynamo exclaimed, while turning to Shiny, who exclaimed about wanting to catch the poison joke. As she tripped on Silky, Dynamo blinked as the bouquet of poison joke was coming his way. "Uh oh!" Dynamo says, using his magic to catch the bouquet before it could hit him. Breathing a sigh of relief, the blue unicorn made sure to place the bouquet far away from him and the others so they wouldn't be affected. "That was close. Actually, wait a minute. I caught the bouquet. Would that mean that I'd be the next to get married? Then that doesn't make sense as I don't have a special somepony yet." He didn't have much time to think about it as he could hear a rapid-fire of sneezing. Looking up, he noticed Discord having a sneezing fit. All the while disappearing and reappearing, before ultimately vanished into thin air. "O-Okay...so that just happened."

As he heard his name being called, Dynamo saw @ThePinkestofPones Saturn, who was running over towards him. Seeing the look of concern on her face, the gaming unicorn smiled softly as he gently gave Saturn a hug. "It's okay and no need to worry, Saturn. I will admit that I was surprised at first. I don't know how or when Discord had those flowers or when he managed to make them into a bouquet. I'm just glad I was able to catch it with my magic."

"I hope he doesn't come back, is everypony okay?" She looked at her friends, Shiny, Silky, Dynamo and Samurai, "Sorry I couldn't help out, I don't know why I froze like that," she said, looking down nervously

"I'll be okay. I think I let Discord get the better of me as I thought he had hurt my friends. Thankfully, that wasn't the case, but I admit that I let my emotions get the better of me. I'm really sorry if I mad you and everyone worry." Dynamo responded, giving Saturn and the the other racers an apologetic expression. Upon hearing Saturn's apology, the gaming unicorn could only shake his head. "It's okay, Saturn. I hope it's okay to ask, but was that your first time meeting Discord?"

"Mmm-hmm, I've heard tales about him, but never met him before, I didn't think he'd be so hard to face," Saturn said, scratching her head.

"I know what you mean. I remember hearing stories about him a while after moving to Ponyville. I did hear that he had changed for the better and that he does things in his own ways. Due to him learning about friendship and being friends with Fluttershy. Even though he's changed, I completely understand how the previous tales about him would make anyone feel when meeting him." Dynamo says with a nod. "I can promise that everything will be okay. Your friends will always be here to make sure that you're safe from Discord or anything else that might be scary. The same goes for me as you're my friend and I'll always be here in case you ever need a friend." Dynamo says, smiling softly as he gave Saturn an expression of reassurance.

"I still don't know how to feel about Discord... I mean, he's funny, but sometimes he can take things too far," I frowned. I tossed my empty plastic cup into the garbage.

Samurai sees what is happening. He goes over to help defend his friend and give him a comforting pat on the back, not wanting to see any of his friends cry. However, by the time he makes it to Dynamo, it seems everything with @Discord seems to be wrapping up, possibly. In fact, all these magical shenanigans have left Samurai at a loss for words. "...Is this normal draconequus behavior?"

[Wizard 1,425]

Titanium stands in awe of the entire situation that just unfolded in front of her. Confused, lost, bewildered and speechless. She stands nearly silent amongst the crowd until Discord sneazes himself away.

"W-what... Just... Happened?" She mumbles to herself, unsure of what she should even do in this situation. "I swear, nothing can be a simple event anymore." She sits on the floor and sighs "Magic, discord, raving animals, earthquakes, cold moon, this has been the longest race of my life."

Titanium begins to connect the dots in her head, the figure in the sky that attacked her with animals, that was Discord. She wondered if she hit him with her catapult of bunnies. Though, if she did, he would have probably gotten even with her somehow.

 

She picks herself up and brushes dust off her coat. She moves over towards the others, checking up on those who have been effected by all this, notably @Ice Princess Silky <3 and @Sir HugsalotNobody knows where they were, and them suddenly falling from the sky into buckets of water was probably quite the shock.

“I admit that Discord can kind of take things a bit too far at times, but I guess this is Discord being Discord. In a sort of Discord-like way. So, I try not to question it as much.” Dynamo says, nodding in agreement with @Lucky Fire Lucky.  Out of the corner of his eye, Dynamo had seen @Crypty Scribbles Crypty, who had pinned a flower onto his scarf. Seeing the color of the flower, however, caused the blue unicorn to gasp with his eyes widening in shock. “No! Crypty, wait! That’s not a regular flower. That’s poison joke!” Dynamo exclaimed, but he was too slow in warning Crypty. “Oh, too late.” Dynamo sighed in defeat, worried about what the flower would do to Crypty. 

Feeling a pat on his back, Dynamo craned his neck to look back and see @Samurai Equine Samurai was the one behind the back pat. Smiling at the kind gesture, Dynamo could only give Samurai a shrug of his shoulders. “I want to say yes, but this feels normal for Ponyville standards. It’a definitely never a dull moment in this town, that’s for sure.” Dynamo says, recalling certain memories of random shenanigans that had transpired when he was in Ponyville. “Let’s just say a lot had happened all at once. At least now we know who had caused those mishaps in the obstacles when they occurred.” Dynamo would say, turning towards @Wizard Titanium, giving the mare an apologetic expression. “I’m really sorry about that. I did know about the planned obstacles like Pinki’s cake batter as a slip and slide, Applejack’s choice of event, and even Fluttershy’s event of calming the animals. Although, one thing I didn’t expect or factor in was Discord causing some chaos here and there. Something to consider for the next race. I do hope that you and everyone had fun, though, Titanium.” Dynamo offered Titanium a smile, before looking back to Samurai. “I’m going to head up to the stage to start making the announcements. Would it be okay if you can send our top three for crossing the finish line, as well as knocking down the most leaves please?” Dynamo asks, before making his way up towards the stage. “At any rate, it looks like everypony that participated in the race is finally here! Which means it’s not time for the award ceremony! Everypony that took part in this, please make your way towards the stage!”

 

[Anarchylight]

*Anarchylight sees flowers with funny side effects. She takes them with her magic, holds them at a great distance from herself and says.

"What happens if these flowers are near Discord? Will these flowers have some funny side effect on him? Hmm, let's check!"

*Anarchylight puts on her ghillie suit, hides in a tree and quickly throws the flowers back to Discord.

"Oh, I didn't have time to do this, he vanished!"

*After that, she quickly teleports to another place.

*Anarchylight noticed that Crypty had Discord's flower on his scarf. She teleported next to him, keeping her distance, and said.

"Crypty, this flower is a poison joke. It has, as Discord said, a funny side effect. I don't know what effect it will have on you. I can remove this effect with my magic, if you want."

*Anarchylight heard @Dynamo Pad say to go to the stage.

 "We need to go."

Stopping in his step, Dynamo turned to @Shiny Silvermoon, before nodding with a smile. "Eeyup! Those that had gained the top three spots in both running and leaves will stay near the steps." Dynamo says, pointing to the steps that lead to the stage. "Once I call out the names of each category position, you will make your way to the stage for me to hand out your award." Dynamo explain, before continuing on his way over towards the stage.

Crypty just placed a beautiful silky blue bud on the scarf and suddenly found himself in spotlight attracting attention of other ponies. All of them were talking simultaneously so it was hard to understand what they are trying to say but there was something worrying in their tone and expressions. The unicorn could think about it more but weird scent of the flower tickled his nostrils and he sneezed loudly...

He said with a huff before smirking again, stroking his miniature beard and pondering to himself. "Although, I do suppose that could work as well..."

Discord suddenly floated into the air, summoning a cloud with which he could lay atop of. "To all my little winning ponies, I will gladly give you the answer... If any of you are able to solve a little teensy weensy equation~! And whoever does so will receive a free gift!" Discord snapped his fingers and summoned a VERY large bouquet of flowers. "Then, you will not only have our two missing racers but ALSO a new scent for your homes as thanks for participating in these games!" With a bow, Discord observed all the ponies who had made it across the finish line, taking particular note of @Dynamo Pad and @Shiny Silvermoon, waving at them.

He turned to @Valynne Chatterbox and tapped her on the head. "Be sure to record this, won't you? And I demand an interview later for my slot on 6000 Minutes!"

Summoning a microphone into his hand, Discord announced, "Now then! If I have 5 apples and take away 3... What is it that is funny to one, frightening to another, and is always silky and blue?"

Out of nowhere, a stopwatch floated upwards and began ticking away.
 

*Chatterbox blushed slighty at Discord when he tapped her head, Kramathia remain motionless, she was actually recordin through her camera eyes*

Samurai carefully makes his way to Chatterbox. "Chat-chan, be very careful. There are extra Poison Joke flowers falling from the sky." Samurai offers his fire-fighter jacket. "You can use this to protect yourself, if you want. I didn't bring any umbrellas."

It was too late, as Samurai was covering her she did receive a little bit of the flower, Samurai could see how Chatterbox's mouth begin to shrink until it was gone, Chatterbox mouth dissapeared and her eyes begin to wet, she had no mouth and she must scream.

 

Meanwhile Kramathia who was unaffected was recording all ponies and Discord, since is a robot the flowers didnt had any effect

[Shiny Silvermoon]

*As the petals of the poison joke flowers were falling on the other participants of the race, Shiny Silvermoon was standing on her back legs, her front legs wide open and her face rose high toward the sky.*

"YES!!! YESSSSSSSS!!! FALL ON ME!!! DO IT!!!" *The mare yelled toward the petals. However, the poison joke landed all around her in a perfect circle, as if they avoided her on purpose.*

"You must be kidding me..."

Dynamo winced as he heard the sneeze from @Crypty Scribbles Crypty. "Are you okay, Crypty? I would suggest getting rid of the flower as you never know what the effects of poison joke will do to you." Dynamo says, hoping that Crypty will be okay.

OOC: The rules of the poison joke are that it effects you based on your talent. Just like how Twilight's talent was magic, but her horn was affected. Fluttershy was soft spoken, but the effects of poison joke changed her voice. So, something like that, but for your character. In the end, only you can choose the effects of the curse from Poison Joke.

After receiving a hug from @Samurai Equine Samurai, Dynamo smiled as he returned the embrace. "Thank you for gathering the winners up. I'll make sure to give the announcement in aj just a moment. I should be okay, but if I need any help, I'll be sure to let you know. Thank you for all of your help, Onii-San." Dynamo says as he started making his way over towards the stage. As he climbed the steps that lead to the stage, the gaming unicorn headed towards the center. A table filled with medals and a microphone near the front and center. "Your attention please? May I have everyone's attention?" Dynamo asks, grabbing the microphone in a levitation spell. As he cleared his throat, he called out to the racer's and audience members.

Fillies and Gentlecolts! I'd like to say thank you for joining us today as the race of The Running of the Leaves has come to a close! I also want to give a big thank you to all of our racers that participated in today's events! A lot has happened and I can honestly imagine and understand that everyone must be exhausted. However, everyone did an amazing job and you all deserve a round of applause!" Dynamo exclaimed, the audience stomping their hooves in agreement. "I'd also like to give a big thank you to @Discord. While everything that had happened was a bit unexpected, he was helping out in his own unique way." Dynamo says, knowing that Discord would cause some mischief again if he wasn't given thanks. This pony had been leading the pack for most of the race! With her speed, agility, quick thinking and creativity had lead to her victory. Your winner of this year's Running of the Leaves is...@Wizard Titanium!" Dynamo exclaimed, calling all three racer's up to the front. 

"However, it wasn't just the number of steps they took or how fast they run. It's called The Running of the Leaves for a reason, after all." Dynamo started with a wink. "Starlight had kept track of all the leaves that everypony knocked down during the race. With our competitors all crossing the race, we've got all the numbers tallied up. In third place, we have @Samurai Equine Samurai! While it looks like he forfeited his steps in the race, he still made up for it with knocking as many leaves down as he could! In second place, we have @Crypty Scribbles Crypty! Even though our participants were ahead of the race, it still didn't stop Crypty to take the silver medal in collecting leaves to knock down! Which means that in first place, we have @Shiny Silvermoon Shiny! With an impressive number of steps in the race, she managed to keep up with the competition. At the same time, she knocked down as many leaves as possible to secure the victory in most leaves knocked down!" Dynamo says, smiling as he held a hoof out towards the winners to direct the audience towards. "If you all will please step onto the stage, then you shall receive your prize!" Dynamo smiled, lowering his hoof as he pointed towards the medals on the table. Alt the same time, calling up the six top 3 participants in both the race and leaves portion of the event.

OOC: The rules of the poison joke are that it effects you based on your talent. Just like how Twilight's talent was magic, but her horn was affected. Fluttershy was soft spoken, but the effects of poison joke changed her voice. So, something like that, but for your character. In the end, only you can choose the effects of the curse from Poison Joke.

After receiving a hug from @Samurai Equine Samurai, Dynamo smiled as he returned the embrace. "Thank you for gathering the winners up. I'll make sure to give the announcement in aj just a moment. I should be okay, but if I need any help, I'll be sure to let you know. Thank you for all of your help, Onii-San." Dynamo says as he started making his way over towards the stage. As he climbed the steps that lead to the stage, the gaming unicorn headed towards the center. A table filled with medals and a microphone near the front and center. "Your attention please? May I have everyone's attention?" Dynamo asks, grabbing the microphone in a levitation spell. As he cleared his throat, he called out to the racer's and audience members.

*Shiny was so overjoyed by the announcement of Dyny, concerning her first place as a leaves knocker, that she jumped and somehow remained midair for a few seconds. The gravity seemed to have no effect on her for this brief moment of intense excitement, while her hooves were swaying in all directions and a large smile spread on her face.*

*At some point, the unicorn with a silver mane reached the ground again and actively made her way toward the stage. However, she didn't rush toward it but, instead, by the same way she went through the entire race: by leaping. Arrived on the podium, the pony gave a tight hug to @Dynamo Pad, before turning around for a speech.*

"I'd like to thank all my friends for helping me, during this race and motivating me to continue leaping! @Ice Princess Silky <3 Silky and @Sir Hugsalot Vibrant who encouraged me to accelerate the pace with their competitive behaviors, @Valynne Kramathia and Chatterbox who both made me forget about the exhaustion with how much entertaining they were to watch, @ThePinkestofPones Saturn Rings who mysterious vanished for a duration of time but almost allowed me to touch poison jokes, @Felis Amafeles Felis who gave me a hoof at building a snow kirin, the snow kirin who is mysteriously in the crowd, Harry the bear who gave me the opportunity to ride his back, @Samurai Equine who unfreezed the hooves of @Wizard Titanium after I forgot thst hypothermia is a thing, the Moon who blessed me with cool powers and I'm probably forgetting about many other friends!"

*Shiny then turned herself toward @Dynamo Pad again.* "I'd also like to mention my gratefulness toward Dyny who organized this Running of the Leaves! He made an excellent job! I'm so glad that I was given the opportunity to help Nature by knocking some leaves!"
