mega thread What's the oldest car you'd feel comfortable buying if you don't have a car but have a license?

Sooo... this title is self explanatory and just a general question, what's the oldest car you'd feel comfortable buying? For me, I'd say a 1992 is the oldest car I'd buy all things considered... but what about you guys? What's the oldest thing you'd buy and why is it the case?

My current car was made in 1982. I think I could buy a car made in 1975 or so. Older than that, I think it would be difficult to find parts for it, though I guess it would depend on the model.

At some point it would just become impractical - vacuum operated windshield wipers are not good and most importantly parts would be rare and expensive or I would have to have them custom-made which would be even more expensive and take a long time etc.

On the other hand, I would not want to buy a car made after 1985, when cars became increasingly computer-controlled, with complicated electronics, difficulty to access anything, a lot of expensive parts etc.
