Hello, my little ponies!

You may have noticed the banner change as we run this event a little tongue-in-cheek.  That is because @StaryStory (the amazing artist of the banner and Silky illustration below) and I have a similarly strange sense of humor.

@StaryStory and I had been bonding for a while and completely amazed by our similarities!
So -- by the power of new friendships blossoming -- and magic!! Let us begin! >:3 



First of all! A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to @Sparklefan1234!! The lovely of Sparklecubes!

And A BIG BIG  welcome back home to @ExplosionMare who went on quite the hiatus!

These two have put me through quite the adventure to tell for having shown me the meaning of friendships from far and wide while blooming new ones.

So! In honor of new potential friendship blooming -- here is a new Admin event!

Today we are going to be learning a little bit about healthy friendships, boundaries and how to bloom them.

As they say, April showers brings May flowers. It is now June. So there are plenty of flowers. >:3

All through-out the rest of June and July... we shall be showing something similar to that of a "user appreciation theme."
You will get a badge for this event but you may also earn a new friendship as a plus!

But!

There are just some rules to obtain here.

Cultivating healthy friendships or blooming the seeds of potential new ones means respecting their boundaries!

You will be offered some flowers below. Each flower will represent something.

Try to scatter as many throughout the forums (in the form of a private message to people) with a genuine and authentic compliment you may have towards another user. But do not pressure them to respond, reciprocate or give you one back. This is not how this event works.

It is very simple:

Send them a private message with a flower. Its meaning and why you have offered it to them as a gift!  It does not matter if it is an older user that says "inactive," or "active." Some users are lurkers and it simply says "inactive" as a courtesy to them. So, go crazy with the friendship is magic spreading!

But remember, there is absolutely no obligation for them to reciprocate or owe you a friendship back. The main theme is to scatter flowers and kindness. Potentially gaining a friend is just a side-perk! 

IF you have obtained 3 flowers in total, please message @Twilight Sparkle with the flowers, their meaning and the persons who sent them! 
This Event shall go from the rest of June until the 12th of July!

You can copy and paste these individually to a user you have seen on the forums. Whether active or inactive. But please do not demand or expect one back. Simply share flowers for the sake of spreading kindness and warm sentiments. This is not a competition or a transactional thing. 

If you can help to spread enough flowers, maybe someone can gather a total of 3 flowers from 3 different users. And let us see if we can take this to stage 2. c:

I have a certain somepony I'd like to give a flower to, if you know what I mean.

This SO sweet and SO cute! You can also send your own roses or icons to people if it is easier for you. The purpose is to simply spread flowers around the forums. 

And, you know what they say, "The fragrance always stays in the hand that gives the rose."
