Almost everyone is going to go with Rainbow Dash or Rarity.

 

Bronies hate the letter R. They also hate subtle stuff. If Rarity is subtly generous, for example, Rarity haters don't think she's generous at all. In fact, some haters will go as far to say that Suited for Success was out of selfishness, not generosity.

 

For Rainbow Dash fans, I feel bad for Rainbow Dash. How is she supposed to prove she's the element of loyalty when everyone is loyal? Rainbow Dash doesn't get much of a chance to prove that she's more loyal than the others. I think she's pretty loyal, but most bronies cannot see subtle stuff, so they never notice how loyal she is, either. 

 

Yes, I said most bronies cannot see subtle stuff. I am not stereotyping. Most bronies are like that. They don't think Applejack has character, they don't think Rarity is generous, they don't think Rainbow Dash is loyal, all because they only notice everything up front. (Even though they notice background ponies...)

Though I wouldn't be surprised if several people want to replace all the Mane Six with background ponies....

I think I would probably remove Twilight. Her thug life is too much for our children, and they don't know what it takes to be dank like her.

If I had to, I'd take out Twilight.  I mean, she's a bit of a Mary-sue.  Not in a "this character is flawless" way, but more like "Twilight is the only character who can do anything useful in a crisis" kinda way, and that gets on my nerves.

 

Pinkie Pie would be my second choice, because I'm sorry, I just don't like comic relief characters.  At all.

I feel bad for starting to like Rainbow Dash when almost everyone else is starting to hate her.  

 

I also know I shouldn't like Rainbow because I already love Rarity, and Rarity fans usually hate Rainbow Dash and vice versa. 

 

Also, this poll is lame. Rarity has the most haters, and that will never change no matter how awesome she is unless she gives up fashion. Fashion has such a bad reputation that all fashion characters will have bad first impressions. That's just how it is. Stylish = Stupid in most media.

JK. I have nothing against her. She's an alright character to tell the truth.

But if I was held at gun point and told to replace a character in the show then I would have to pick her because she is my personal least favorite member of the mane 6 and the one I find to be the least interesting out of the 6.  Though I do like her family.

Still the show wouldn't be the same without one of the mane 6 missing and that includes Applejack too.

I would say Rarity should have left them after "Rarity takes Manehatten" (helping Coco with the work) and come back in Filli Vanilli, so she wouldn't miss anything important.

 

But if were talking about pernamently leaving the Group itself I say we take Twilight out and put let Trixie take Twilight's old Role as the second Unicorn of the Group. Twilight would stay as a Mentor..

Things were different back then, and it doesn't really reflect on the fandom's current thoughts anymore - and I would say Rarity would have some votes in the fandom's current state, but I doubt it'd be this many.

I'm still getting into MLP I'm on the fence with the show I love Fluttershy and would never want her to go anywhere the only one I think doesn't fit is Rarity. she is very full of herself. a very diamond and riches type of pony she cares about fashion first then friends second

These kinds of topics are arm-twisters that utilize forced, irrelevant scenarios.  And they don't promote the worthwhile discussion that their creators mistakenly expect them to.  And you can't remove an essential character without affecting the plot; that's not how things work.  Even if you inexplicably jumped from an episode with the Mane Six to an episode with the Mane Five (sounds wrong), it would still upset continuity and affect the future of the series.  You're basically saying this: Remove one of your fingers without affecting that hand.

 

MLP:FIM, from the start, has revolved around the Mane Six and their friendship.  The growth of each has been at least partly dependent on their interactions with their friends; every pony contributes something.  Even if I genuinely disliked any one of the Mane Six, I couldn't imagine subtracting even one of them from the equation.  And why would I want to?  I'd sooner add a pony to the Mane Six.

 

P.S. Those of you who are actually answering the poll question stop and think: What would the show be like without YOUR favorite Mane Six pony?  Everypony is someone's favorite.  Everypony matters to someone.  And they matter to each other.
