movies/tv The Best Superhero?

Rather Tired

So I recently watched the Avengers, and it's totally hype. Go watch it if you haven't already.

But it got me thinking- who is your favorite superhero?

Mine is the Hulk, because he is freaking invincible. Even Superman has a limit of where his strength will go, but the more you fight the Hulk, the stronger he gets. Besides, he doesn't have a weakness (except that he's a dumbass).

Actually, current Hulk is stuck in Hulk form, but retains his own mind, so he's not even a dumbass :)

And for me, it's a tie between deadpool, magneto, and spiderman. And yes, I know two of those are usually villains.

Spiderman without a doubt. Hes got a better story compared to other heros, imo.

Although the writers don't think Spider-Man should grow up. Fuck you, Marvel. -_- (Thanks to Linkara for that knowledge :P).

In all seriousness, Spider-Man is also my favorite superhero of all time, and the most important character in my life. I say this because Spider-Man made me into the person into who I am today, taught me some moral values, and from reading the comics, learned the mistakes he made, and not to do them myself. As much shit Peter gets in his life, I do wish someone would hug him, because Peter needs some peace for once. I am convinced that if I didn't see Spider-Man 2 when it came out in theaters, I doubt that I would be here right now. That's how much Spidey means to me. :D

As much as I love American super heroes, the ones from Japan are closer to my heart.

Those heroes include...

AkaRanger of Himitsu Sentai GoRanger

The original Ultraman

Kamen Rider #1

and the various heroes that came after them, born in their likeness. As well as a vast assortment of other side heroes who are equally as great, like the Metal Heroes.

For Marvel, good ol' Cap. I guess I relate to him the most.

For DC, um... huh, toughie. Sometimes I falter between Jason Todd and Bruceman himself. I get frustrated with Batman though and when this occurs I lean towards preferring the generally rounder characterized Robins.

Overall, it's Cap!

Starfire!

(This version)

Tru dat. Even though the comics explore her and Mr. Grayson's relationship a lot more thoroughly, Kori's original version has always been too "fanservice-y" to put it lightly. (With me reading DC's new reboot especially in Red Hood & Outlaws, it got really hard to bear with how the interpreted Starfire)
