Favorite Winter Activities When You Were a Kid

What were your favorite winter activities when you were a kid? Mine were building a snowman and going sledding.

Even from a young age, I like to just stop and watch it come down for a while, watch it quietly build up on everything. Sometimes I'd lay out in the yard and see if I could get covered. Problem was my face usually melted everything that landed on it, and It'd just turn red and painful after a while. I was successful once, and only because I accidently fell asleep for maybe an hour.

Well, mine were sledding, building a snow man (or other snow sculptures) and snowball fights. But I also loved it to just walk through a snowy landscape (I still love it to do it nowadays) or ride a bycicle thorugh the snow.

Well, this was actually my favorite winter activity when we had rain and wind instead of snow and sunshine. And rainy weather is more common here in western germany in winter than snowy weather. -.-

Maybe not quite THIS elaborate, but not half bad either.

None, as it’s snewed less than a handful of times when I was young and it was hardly enough to play with  .
