(edited)

My dad offered me a Xbox game for my graduation gift. Any recommendations? Here are the games I own for Xbox now:

Skyrim

Dead Island

COD: Black Ops

COD: Modern Warfare 2

Portal 2

So what would you recommend? I want a really really good game :)

I would choose Portal 2.

I already have Portal 2, I'm looking for other recommendations.

You mean like XBOX exclusives or do you mean games for XBOX in general?

As an exclusive, I would go with Fable II, don't get the third one. It wasn't that great in comparison to the second one.

If you aren't talking exclusives, I would probably say Arkham City/Asylum (if you don't already have them).

Oh and may I recommend you buy in on computer (if you can run it) and there's a neat little game called Recettear: An Item Shops tale. It's a neat little dungeon crawler. It take about half an hour to get into the real fun parts and it's cheap.

This one is a tad less creepy. Wouldn't you agree?

My friend you need some driving games and I'm the person to help you.

Burnout Paradise:Is fast action and at the same time a game where you can relax and go about at your own pace. Also the communitiy is still active and with it's low price you can pick up some great DLC. Their's the movie car pack the boost special pack and the best of all the Big surf island. Plus the toy cars.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit: Also cheap this is the best NFS made in years. Avoid the new Run as it's terrible. This game and Burnout are made by the same fantastic developers. Criterion Games. In Hot Pursuit you enjoy escaping the cops and being the cops in some very fancy exotic cars. It's pick up and play and with friends it gets better because of autolog.

Forza Motorsport 4 If you want realism this is it. With over 500 and growing number of cars their's something for everypony. Speaking of that the fantastic livery editor show's off some brony's creative side.

The new "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier" Is an amazing game. :)

You recommend Future Soldier and not an Assassin's Creed game why?! Your name is blasphemy!

;;Ahem;; On-topic, I would recommend picking up Assassin's Creed 2. It's a little old, yes, but it's still a very good game and a good place to jump onto the series. Playing the first one would help a little bit with plot details, but you can just look up a summary of the first game if you want to know the plot before 2.

Judging by your list, it seems like you're into fps style games

so I'd have to recommend Battlefield 3 ;)

its a great multiplayer game ^_^

Oh Holy crap I completely forgot!!

So anyway yes I highly reccomend playing the Ezio series which is AC2, brotherhood and revelations. The first was great for it's time but might seem bad now so you can probably skip it and stay with the story. I also reccomend getting AC3 when it comes out I can't wait!

Well, if you like Skyrim. Try Oblivion. Obviously the graphics aren't as pleasing. I personally liked the quests and main story more, though. :D

If your into fighting games, try Either the Street fighter games, Or Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3... There both just so bad ass.. But if your more of a FPS type of person, I suggest you try Either games in the Battlefield Series, or the Halo Series. There are some really good titles coming this year so by December your going to have a lot of great games to chose from.

Thank you everyone :)

I ended up buying Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Revelations. Along with Oblivion (There was a buy 2 used games get 1 free used game. So I got Brohood and Revelations and got Oblivion free ;) ) I read up on the background info so I would understand Brotherhood and its very fun :D

I'm late, but....

YOU MADE THE RIGHT DECISION.

That'll give you ages of playtime + Multiplayer + Plot. I play games for the plot, and these two are just delightful. Collectables are both feasible in both also, so even more playtime.

Until Assassin's Creed 3 comes out, that is. XD
