gaming Disturbing Video Game Bosses

When I was little, Bongo Bongo in LoZ: Ocarina of Time scared the living daylights out of me. Actually, I hated the theme music and the sounds in the Shadow Temple so badly that I turned the game on silent and played the entire thing with no sound whatsoever. I was like 6, though.

More recently, the final final final boss from Persona 4,

Izanami, in her final form, isn't scary now but it is still pretty gross and horrifying to some degrees, since she has the same body she does in her mythical story.

EDIT: Now that I started thinking about PC games, I can't believe I forgot the terror that are all the enemies from S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat.

Pseudogiant and Bloodsuckers especially. Just look at the pseudogiant:

Then, of course, the legendary bloodsuckers (they can turn invisible):

I would say the Avogardo from Black Ops II. Sure he may not be a boss, but he is downright disturbing whenever he approaches you in an ominous manner and shoots lightning bolts at you that would surely kill you if you don't have an EMP Grenade. ._.'

Broodmother in Dragon Age: Origins was rather "interesting"

That she was -_-

Well I would say just about any boss from Dead Space.

No matter how much I enjoyed playing Conker's Bad Fur Day and how amusing the Great Mighty Poo, I got to admit that fighting a big mound of poop is disturbing and secretly makes you want to go to the bathroom

The BroodMother from dragon age origins- to think Bioware had issues with nudity during the game then show us that.

I agree to this statement! I had a similar reaction when I first met it as well...

I mean bleeeeuhgh! Just look at it! x_x

Another boss I was pretty disgusted by was legion from the Castlevania series(Harmony of dissonance in this case)

I think that monsters in general that are composed of human bodies and/or body parts are VERY disgusting indeed!

Every boss from first dead space, especially Leviathan and The Hive Mind .

Also this "cute", "little", creature  from Dragon Age was very... interesting. I think it wants a hug, would someone give it to her?

I don't think anyone can argue against the Great and Mighty Poo as a disturbing video game boss. I don't think anyone would have ever come up with crap as a boss unless it were an M rated game, to which Conker's Bad Fur Day is.

So, about a week ago, I wasn't sure if I would have anything to add to this thread. Now, I'm actually wondering if my entry is one of the more impactful ones.

Papo & Yo is a game about partnership. You and your razor-toothed, but friendly, buddy Monster solve puzzles together, adventure around a highly whimsical and imaginative world, filled with flying houses and magical doorways. Monster loves coconuts, and you can use his love of them to solve various puzzles. Unfortunately, Monster loves a species of poisonous frog even more than coconuts, even though they're bad for him.

Now, the kicker. Monster is your "father". The "frogs" are alcohol.

I've played "scarier" games that had me jump in my chair...but nothing unsettled me quite so much as moments like this.
