When do you think you will get tired of MLP FiM?

I would lose interest if it wasn’t FiM anymore, meaning that if the show went back to its primitive ways of selling products for Hasbro, rather than providing quality entertainment, relatable themes, and great characters. As for the FiM now, I don’t think I’ll ever get bored, I can rewatch an episode 3 times and still find it fun and enjoyable.

I'll get tired of it once it no longer holds my interest. Even if they made other spin-offs with different characters, I'd still watch as long as the writing was up to par. The show and the fandom still have so much potential, and everything about them intrigues me beyond belief. So, as long as everything's good , I'll still like it :D

This is a great fandom, a phenomenally great fandom. I am here to stay. I will be the ultimate pony of competitive HoN.

Unless I will be a Fighting is Magic playa.

This is really how I feel. But to add more to it...

I don't really ever get tired of things. My interest for them fluctuates, depending on how much I am thinking about them. But it's never really ever gone. It's just in a lower point sometimes. If I continue to think about ponies a lot, then I won't reach a lower point of interest. Since I've joined these forums and am part of a few pony groups on DeviantArt, I'll be reminded of ponies pretty much everyday. Which means my interest will last a while. Compounding on that is the fact that I find drawing ponies extremely fun and easy to do, because you don't have to shade, and I often draw ponify situations in my life via drawing to represent them since it would be more challenging to draw my human self.

So um, short answer? Not really ever, but in a few years, I'll reach a lower point of interest if other people become less interested in ponies.

Aether Velvet is the name of the OC in my avatar. Drawn by me.

Well, in the broad sense of being attracted to 'ponies' as it stands, I think I already have gotten tired of the show. I'm extremely capricious when it comes to shows, because I burn through them in days, and get fed up with the art, plot, and music flaws. However, MLP is something special - it has an emotional component. Whether in canon or fanon, d'aww moments are never rare; it's just so heartwarming and beautiful most of the time.

I'm thankful for how this show has changed me.. I'm also thankful for the coherence and strength of brony internet communities. I don't think this show has to necessarily connect us, just a mutual goal or set of values. Core beliefs, if you will. Love and tolerance.

And that's why I think I won't get tired of this show, as long as it has that special moral and emotional appeal.

I agree with 83awsm. If MLP devolves from FiM into, well, how previous generations were, than my interest will go with it. But, even if such a thing happens (And I can't foresee it happening), the community will keep on burning for quite some time.

Friendship is Magic is a great show, with an unlikely fanbase (us). The fact it's popularity has reached the height it has, especially among the unexpected demographic (us), leads me to believe they'll try to keep the appeal of the show alive as long as they can.

The art is great, the story is great, the characters are great, the VAs are great, and I can't really foresee myself losing interest unless, like previously mentioned, it devolves. Maybe if they took it in some weird direction, like giving the mane characters the ability to fuse Transformers-style or something, I'd lose interest. But what are the odds of that?

In a few months, a few years, or maybe NEVER! Eventually the obsession would come to an end at some point. But not for a VERY long time! :D

Until I finish all the the fic ideas in my head, if I finish those then it would be when the fanbase dies out, but it will last....

Who knows? FiM will eventually come to an end, but I think it has left enough of an impact on me that I won't forget about it any time soon.

I look forward to seeing if the inevitable fifth generation of MLP is able to retain the quality and charm of FiM.

July 7 2024 about three o clock

havent really taught about it. i think it is really hard to estimate when, how, what will makd yoy lose intest now when the fandon is so strong. but i guess i might end up losing interest if the show changes so much it would wind up being almost like a different show.

I find it hard to see myself ever losing interest unless the show changes in a bad way.

As long as the awesome bunch of people we call a community stays together I will stay with it.

Sappy much?

I can't make signatures.

Maybe a year or two after they stop episodes. I'll cling on to this fandom as long as I can, though.

same, but the fandom will never really die, this has left a big point in history and the amount of fans is so large that even after the show ends on tv, the fandom will always remember back when this grate show was a huge part of our lives ^_^
