Vinyl Scratch?

Is anypony else wondering when she will make another appearance in the show. I mean all she did was show up for like 5 seconds and she instantly became a fan favorite. I personally would love to see an episode about her, and possibly even octavia. haha it could even be about them fighting over music tastes... thats a legitimate problem for twilight to solve right? Right!

Well, Derpy got very popular, and she appeared many other times, maybe the same will go for Vinyl Scratch. The show staff does listen to their fans, so maybe it will happen!

 

The only other appearence she made was being mentioned in the "Equestria Girls" Hub commercial as DJ-P0n-3

I don't think she'll get real screen time, she is just a background pony; just because she is a fan favorite doesn't mean she'll become canon.

Canon as in recgonized by the staff like Derpy, or having Actual Dialogue and the main 6 noticing/talking to her?

she WAS recognized in the Equestria Girls promo. they used her fanon name, DJ P0n-3, at the end.

though admittedly, Derpy has been with the show from the very beginning, and her legacy all started thanks to a simple animation error, which got recognized slowly afterwards and brought back into the show. and now she has joke scenes in season 2.

 

i'd say Scratch is on the same bar as, say, Lyra and Bon-Bon at this point. they might stick her in as tasty background decor to cater to the fans. she might get another chance to spin the turntable, though. who knows?

I would love some more Vinyl. She is one of my favorites (besides Twilight and Fluttershy of course). I'm not sure if we will ever see her again, but I hope so.

Exactly, fans get upset when they dont get a episode about Derpy or Octavia, Lyra, or Bonbon.... the thing people need to take into acount is that they are background ponies in the show, they have nothing to do with the main plot, think of it like extras on a tv show, just because there is that one chericter that you liked or that you saw in the background, does not mean that they have anything to do with the story
