Won't Pinkie Pie's mind inevitably be rendered into a permanent state of madness

if one of the Elements of Harmony in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic dies?

It seems that death is prevalent in the My Little Pony world. There is age (Granny Smith), sickness (the Ponyville Hospital) and fear of being trampled by monsters, being stuck under rocks and falling to one's demise (as well as other things).

well then it seems we would have a problem, wouldn't we? Most likly Pricess Celestia would take over and control them because she has done it all on her own before.

And by the way, your title is irrelevent to the question you are asking, so you should change it before the Mods do.

You would think that when that time comes they would be mentally prepared for such a thing and not become psychotic. After all, isn't the whole point of their friendship to grow as individuals.

I don't think so. Pinkie's friends with everypony, and she doesn't seem particularly attached to the other five. If anypony's going to go insane if one of the others die it would be Twilight.

Pinkie is friends with everypony in Ponyville, except that seems to be mostly a social function rather than something that radically affects her life. What I mean is this: her friendship with the rest of the Mane Six is shown to be a whole lot more meaningful than it is with most any other pony---save, perhaps, for the Cake family.

Pinkie would be pretty devastated by the loss of a close friend. If "Party of One" is any indication, Pinkie is possessive and lacks self-assurance. Losing one of the girls would probably hit her especially hard.

I doubt it Pinkie Pie will go into permanent psychosis. She's young right now and reflects that youthful exuberance and the inability to control emotions. Unless Discord goomba stomps one of the Mane Six five seconds from now, we won't see Pinkie Pie becoming crazy but rather, depressed, regressing into her state before the Sonic Rainboom.

I think the show is trying to make a point that losing anyone out of such a tight-knit group would be devastating to everyone involved. The Discord episode demonstrates this when everyone is forced to chase down Discorded Rainbow Dash. The Elements of Harmony requiring all six parts to work is just a symbol for this.

As stated many, many times, Pinkie Pie is friends with (or at minimum knows) everypony in ponyville, but it's obvious that the Mane Six is her closest circle of friends

Would Pinkie go insane like she did in Party Of One (Or worse) if one of the ponies passed away? Who knows, Pinkie Pie obviously cares for her friends, and would not want anything bad to happen to any of them.

Referring back to Party Of One, Pinkie was upset because she believed nopony was her friend anymore. As long as she is shown love and friendship from the other ponies, it's doubtful she would go into a state of insanity, however losing a friend like that would most defiently put her in a state of depression, but it may pass, Pinkie seems to be real good friends with Fluttershy, if something happned to her, she would probably be out of it for a while. But a never ending state of insanity? Not likely to be honest.

Insanity? Nope. The only time she went insane was Party of One because she thought that nobody liked her anymore. If anything, one of the mane six's deaths would actually bring the other five closer because they'll need eachother for emotional support.

Her life after the show will be defined by her handfuls of antipsychotic medication, and steady diet of low starch, low sugar protein mush so the doctors can get her "episodes" under control.

The same could probably be said for all of the mane 6, since they all have mental breakdowns from time to time. But if you're asking if she'll become a Joker-like character, I'll leave that up to fanfic writers.

I find this to be the most likely choice. I have a feeling that one of Pinkie's parties would not ever be the same for her, and this would prove to be a huge effect/consequence to her mental state.
