I find Princess Luna overrated.

I think she might just not have had enough character development like said. She needs more depth...actually Celestia could use a little more development herself. Everything we know about her is kind of speculation. Be it speculation based on observation of her character, but we've never had anything solid presented for either of the sisters making them both a bit more mysterious. Would you say this could be an accurate analysis of their characters?

Maybe ,but remember to look at the side of you there's always a 3rd faction that comes in and for that usually truces are made.

Especially, if the faction is the crusaders.

The Solar Empire is led by Celestia, Lunar Republic led by Luna. Saying your allegiance to one is saying you want that pony to be new leader of Equestria.

So, what side are you on? I'm on Lunar Republic, of course. Luna FTW.

Solar Empire, thank you very much! Even though I prefer silver over gold Celestia is the older and wiser of the sisters and I identify better with her. . Also if you want to bring OCs in I'm Princess of the Ocean (still trying to figure out how to make OC my Avatar) and Luna is controlling my waves and I wanna do that!

Both Celestia and Luna share the throne, much like a king and queen except without the marriage or gender roles. One sees and makes up for the other - they work as a team and keep their kingdom and all of Equestria safe. They are as much protectors as they are leaders.

 

I wouldn't place one over the other. The title is just that, a title, and pledging allegiance to one or the other implies that there are opposing sides in the first place. Celestia and Luna are their own counsel, rather than two separate entities. I say neutral.
