More of my unpopular opinions. I'll call this the Derpy section.

 

1. Hasbro improved the Last Roundup episode by changing Derpy's voice. It sounds better now. They should have left the name in, though.

2. The people who complained overreacted, sure, but labeling them haters, trolls or "soccer moms" so that you can convince yourself that they didn't have a valid point is self-delusional. You don't know who they were, so don't make assumptions.

3. Derpy should never have been called by that name - by all rights, that character should be named Ditzy Doo. However, since Derpy is now the canon name, I have decided to accept it as a missed opportunity by the writers.

4. The scene in which Derpy allegedly says "muffins" contains literally a dozen other ponies. Why are people so convinced Derpy said the word? And even if she did, why does that make people think that she is obsessed with muffins? I like to eat muffins on occasion, and if I saw a bunch of fresh steaming muffins, I might also say the word, but that wouldn't make me obsessed about them.

 

Lastly:

 

5. If someone was a jerk before he or she became a brony, he or she is still a jerk after he or she become a brony. Maybe he or she can change, but it'll take more than just bronyhood to do it. (Kind of like religion.)

I do hate excessively negative people, I know it may seem that I am one but I am not. I am quite a happy person, I just don't like a lot of things. Also, soon as I saw Screw Loose when that episode came out, I called her Screw Loose. I really don't have to thank you for that, but thank you for making it more popular I guess.

I don't know why I'm looking at this thread since I knew I would get upset by many of the things posted here, but whatever . I might as well post my own things.

 

-I think the plot of FF XIII-2 was actually kinda good at some points and I don't really mind that there will a XIII-3

-I have not played past the first disk of FFVII, and I honestly do not care to. It just feels...overrated to me right now.

-FFXII is genuinely fun and interesting and I don't get the hate that I've seen for it, even though I admittingly used to be a hater of it due to being too stubborn to really try it out.

-I am a fairly big fan of Legend of Zelda, yet I have only beaten barely any of the games(Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, and the two Oracle games). I've played many of the others, but I just haven't beaten them(Twilight Princess was on that list until last week when I finally beat it)

--Continuing on that point, I have found Twilight Princess to be by far the best out of all of them.

-I thought that the Yu-Gi-Oh spinoff games Duelist of the Roses and Falsebound Kingdom to be AWESOME and love them to this day

-Well, I guess here the fact that I prefer democracy(despite its faults) to socialism is unpopular.

-I like FPS and I'm actually anticipating Halo 4 because it seems really really interesting to me.

 

That's all I can think of right now. Lots of video game things.

I'm a horror movie fan and all, but I really dislike the Shining. The short version that is (which is the most famous one for some reason). For you who don't know, there is a longer version on about 3-5 hours I think. I think that the longer movie really captures the story better than the short version.

 

And on an interesting note: Stephen King disliked the short version too

And I guess I should rephrase what I said earlier, whenI say Im conservative, I dont mean Im Sarah Palin Down with Obama off the wall crazy. I dont want a big government, or the government messing around in things it doesnt need to mess with. For example, The reason i support Chick-fil-a is because it is predominantly a christian company, America practices fredom of religion and separation of church and state, therefore they should not be told they have to change. Now obviously if they practiced some demon religion like "Cat Hater Union" ore something like that where they broke laws by sacrificing cats to their god and putting the meat in the chicken patties, Then there woudl be a problem and someone needs to step in..

I didn't hate Final Fantasy XIII. I thought some parts were quite well done, especially design-wise.

 

Also, I'm a pacifist.

 

Also, I hate the word homophobe. When you break it down, it means "FEARING what is the same", when it is used as if it means "HATING homosexual people". If you think about it, homophobia means you are also afraid of, among other things: Homogenous milk, homozygous twins, homeopathy, homogenates, homogenesis, homografts, homologation, homoiousians, homynms, homophones, homopolymers, homopterans, and homoscedasticity.
