I made Starry Sky interact with Aurora in a nice way, guess that isn't a problem, hope I'm doing good on the RP.

Woke up and posted again. Serah continues to be a violent ass... well, pony, if you want to be literal. It seemed her only logical response to having other ponies constantly get in the way of her questioning Aurora, though. Luckily I'm not trying to write a likeable character.

The pony plopped a Banana Muffin in Timeshift's hooves, and she smiled. Muffins were wonderful. She threw the muffin in the air and ate it in one bite. She could not beleive how amazing it tasted...it was strangly different from what she normally had, though.

 

"So where are you from?" The pony asked, and Timeshift shrugged.

 

"Thats a very good question."

 

Please remember that you have to wait until at least three people post before you before posting again. Also, the shortness of that post is making me a bit uneasy. Whilst we don't necessarily need walls of text everywhere, I certainly would like to place a reminder that posts in this roleplay are supposed to be more well thought-out than the average RP.

I normally type up my post on MLPForums, put in in Microsoft word, and then wait until I can post it. I got a bit mad at myself for messing up, sorry again.

Just a quick public service announcement…

 

Some of you will probably already know where I'm going with this, but for the rest, don't mind the insane laughter of Numbers. It will be revealed later on, but that is simply Numbers's nature - a fairly volcanic sense of humor. He means no harm and he isn't intentionally picking on anyone, but he can't help himself.

 

Particularly in unusual or stressful situations, he has absolutely no control over his ridiculous outbursts - no matter how inappropriate the situation. Unfortunately for him, this leads to quite a few bad situations. Feel free to point out how ridiculous he is acting, and his laughter will rapidly be displaced by something else - depending on how he was alerted to his misbehavior.

Arg, that last post of mine went through at least 5 re-writes. Writing for Serah's character? Easy. Trying to find a timeline of events from other people's posts? Not so easy. I figured I'd try to make things less complicated by just taking Serah out of the current situation she's in.

I must say I find Serah's reactions to be incredibly enjoyable to read and refreshing. I like her feisty nature in a nice cutesy place like Equestria, and how she is genuinely angry and frustrated to get some answers and everyone's just bumbling around. Very amusing, and very unique.

Honestly, that's the best part about RPing in general. To see all the character reactions and seeing characters evolve through an RP. Fantastico. That in mind, I doubt I have another post in me tonight. I can feel a headache coming on. I'll definitely have another post up tomorrow though.

I have to agree. Were not children and this is basically a fanfic however it's being written on the fly by multiple people. You need character development in an RP just like any other story so it makes you more interested in the other characters and it only adds to the whole RP experience. Okay, to make my posts less confusing, I'll be using a Turquoise color whenever Starry is speaking in her mind, but when she physically speaks, I'll use the color Medium Blue.

 

I'm just concerned about people getting confused on reading the RP. Well, those are the changes, thank you.

I would not recommend using turquoise ever on the forums. It's hard to read, and eye-hurting. The Medium Blue is okay for speech, but why not just italicize what she is thinking? It's a common way that people do so in RPs, gets your message across faster, and hurts less eyes.

I hate that as well. This simple fact that this Role-play is a lot slower pace than most of the others on the forums already makes it one of my favorites here. not to mention it's just amazing in general. I'm going to be busy for a vast majority of the day though, so my next post won't be until tonight.

I'm really enjoying this roleplay so far, it's my favorite because it has a great plot to it, and it's more easy to understand compared to the average RP, BTW, My next post contains a bit of comedy in it.

@@Ice Storm, Yeah, I like the slower pace sink and the general atmosphere of this RP much better than some of the others that I've read through. Actually, I like it better than the original Shifted as well. Of course, I am probably biased because I'm in this one but I wasn't in the original.

 

@@Legendary Emerald, Yeah, that was a good move. Things were starting to get a little overcrowded around Aurora. Just as a side note, I like your characters aggressive style as well. I really enjoyed reading through your parts in the original RP.

On a side note, I'm glad to know you guys are enjoying this and that my three post rule is working well to curb the activity and keep the RP at a good enough pace. I too appreciate this pace, and the fact that the posts have quality over quantity. If we keep it up, I'm hoping I can create more roleplays like this across RP World. And maybe one day, this might become the norm.

Also, Pinkie Pie and the Mane Six do not exist in this version of Shifted, Aureity. I thought I... put something about that in the rules. But I guess I didn't. O_o Edited it in though. I'd recommend editing that reference to them out. Because like, as it says in the OP, they couldn't find anyone to wield the Elements of Harmony, meaning there is no Mane Six. My mistake though.
