Aurora Flare blinked in surprise, her confidence draining out of her as she was surrounded by the deluge of ponies asking her questions. She had a fleeting thought of turning to run, but...some of them did look hungry, even if most of them were walking funny. Like newborn fillies not used to the ground. She stifled a laugh as she watched them blunder across the grassy meadow. "Um..." she managed to stammer out, trying to figure out who to respond to.

@@Legendary Emerald,

Her thoughts were interrupted by a furious-looking red-coated pony that attempted to totter over on two hooves towards her. It was so amusing to Aurora, seeing the pony imitating a duck waddling, that she couldn't help but release a muffled giggle, which she regretted almost immediately as the pony let out a gutteral growl.

"I-I'm Aurora Flare," Aurora stammered, backing away slowly from the intimidating-looking pony, anxious to calm her. "I-I come here often...to stargaze," she added, fearing her short introduction would not suffice. She then frowned in slight surprise as she heard the second part of the red pony's question. "Y-you don't know where you are? Are you ponies just raveleing through here, or something? Y-you're in one of the larger grassy meadows that borders the town of Ponyville." She nodded with her horn towards the horizon, where the outlines of roofs could be seen.

@@Electrobolt,

I'm not off to a good start..., Aurora thought, turning her head to answer the question of a second pony, a young green stallion that had marched up to join the first. A-at least he seems nicer. She opened her mouth to reply to his query of stargazing, eager to finally get on talking terms with a pony that didn't look like he wanted to rip her head off, when suddenly, red-faced, he blushed and muttered something about "talking to someone else", and left in an embarrased huff.

"W-where are you going?" Aurora asked, confused. He's a weird one... "D-don't leave me alone with this vicious-looking pony!" Oh Celestia, did I say that out loud? She turned back to the first pony and gave her an awkward grin that pleaded "don't kill me". Heart hammering in her chest, she turned, finally, to the last of her questioners.

@,

"Food?" Aurora asked, puzzled, before her mind clicked. "Oh right, food!" Anxious to focus her mind elsewhere and please this odd bunch of ponies, she magicked over a blueberry muffin from the hamper now sitting in the field a few tail-lengths away from her, and gave it to the blue pegasus, glad that she, at least, looked normal. "I made it myself with the freshest blueberries this side of Equestria," she added, a note of happiness in her voice.

@@Aureity,

(OOC: Short post because it's 2:24 A.M. here and I need to get off, sorry!)

The unicorn that the little blue pegasus spoke to introduced herself as Aurora Flare, and she was kind enough to offer some food to her. She received a blueberry muffin, which gives of the aroma of the freshest blueberries around, "Oh, is this is for me? Thank you! You're so.......k-kind." She said tearfully, and then she tried to hold the muffin in her hooves, to which she nearly dropped to the ground, probably because she isn't used to holding with hooves.

She took a bite from the muffin, and shortly fell in love with the flavor "Mmm! It's so good!" she said, talking with her mouth full. She continued to snack on the muffin till it's gone, then afterwards, she said, "Oh, how rude of me, I forgot to introduce myself, my name is...." It turns out that she forgot who she really is, "Oh no, I.....I-I don't know my name! What is happening to me? I look like I've forgotten everything, including my own name! Great, What should I do? I need to say something fast!!" She thought.

She started sweating, "Um...my name is...uh....um..." she frantically looked around, then she saw the mark on her flank, "Okay, that works!!" then she finally introduced her self, "M-my name is..St-Starry Sky? Yes, Starry Sky! Sorry about that! ehehehehe," now sweating even more.

"Great, Starry Sky? Seriously? I don't think that makes a great name, oh well, that's the closest name I could think of regarding the mark on my flank."

Timeshift shifted her eyes at the others around her. They were all slowly awakening, which could only be a good thing, right? Well, you could never know. They could be evil villans who want to destroy the world or something like that. Her stomach rumbled, and she realized she was hungry. She ate a nearby daisy-like flower, but spit it out and rubbed her nose. It tasted...disgusting. Awful. Gross. She grumbled. Was there wanything worth eating in this place?

No, probably not. She told herself, stomping her 'hoof'. She attempted to stand up again, but fell over. She grumbled, and then laid down, eavesdropping on other conversations. She then heard something worth hearing-

"Um...hello," she said uncertainly as she approached the group. "W-were you ponies stargazing, too?" Confidence suddenly kindling inside her at the thought that the group of ponies might share something in common with her, she added, "I-I have some food, with me, if any of you are hungry..." Not a one of them seemed to have anything to eat, after all.

Timeshift noticed the pony talking about food, and she realized she was hungry. Like, starving. Her stomach rumbled, and she decided that she should get some food. One thing bothered her - Stargazing? Really? She hated being caught up in all of that mumbo-jumbo. Something in the back of her head reminded her that she hates stars, and anything is space. She shrugged it off and began to scoot toward the pony giving out food.

"Uh, I heard you were giving out food. Can I have some?" Timeshift asked, winking and putting on the most innocent face she could muster. She smacked her lips, because a she might be getting something worthwhile to eat.

The answers Aurora had provided Serah with were unsatisfactory. Unfortunately, every pony and their mother seemed to want a piece of Aurora; one pony blissfully ignored Serah's presence and asked for food, and another pony actually had the nerve to apologize on Serah's behalf before abruptly departing. Her patience was wearing thin.

And then a third pony walked up.

"Uh, I heard you were giving out food. Can I have some?" Timeshift asked, winking and putting on the most innocent face she could muster. She smacked her lips, anticipating something worthwhile to eat.

"That's it. Final straw.."

"Forget food; why do we all look like ponies?!' Serah roared and took a swing at Aurora's picnic basket, attempting to knock it's contents to the ground.

Aurora smiled. "Starry Sky, huh?" she commented, looking thoughtful. "And judging by your your cutie mark, you must really be into astronomy..." Least there's one pony out of the bunch that hasn't lost their marbles. She felt slightly more comfortable now as watched Starry Sky eat the muffin, although one nagging thought hovered at the back of her mind. Starry had taken so long to figure out what her name was. That was...odd. Ponies didn't just forget their names, that was ridiculous. Pushing the growing suspicion out of her mind that these ponies were indeed crazy, she turned to yet another pony that was now trotting up to her asking for food. Aurora was starting to feel uncomfortable at all the attention she was recieving, but hid it beneath her usual cheery smile.

@

"Yeah, of course!" Aurora exclaimed as the pony approached her and asked for a bite to eat. Eager to distance herself from the growing crowd around her, she decided to dash over to the basket and manually grab a banana muffin, rather than lazily opting to use magic. "Um, here you go!" she said, depositing it carefully in the pony's waiting hooves. "So where are you from?"

@@Legendary Emerald

As Aurora tilted her head, waiting for any other ponies that she was sure would find their way over here, the deranged red pony from earlier let out a roar of anger and swatted at the picnic basket. Aurora flinched in surprise, but quickly managed to bring the basket to a halt midflight as it went tumbling through the air. She wasn't as lucky with the food inside, as a couple of hay sandwiches came tumbling out to land with a gentle splat on the ground below, pasting the grass. Still though, it could have been worse - at least she had managed to save all the baked goods.

"What's your problem?" Aurora asked in irritation, a note of anger finally starting to build in her throat. "All I'm doing is trying to be nice to ya'll, and this is how you repay me? Jeez!" She was now trembling from head to hoof and only just managed to set the basket back down on the ground. "Y-you've lost it completely!"

The pony plopped a Banana Muffin in Timeshift's hooves, and she smiled. Muffins were wonderful. She threw the muffin in the air and ate it in one bite. She could not beleive how amazing it tasted...it was strangly different from what she normally had, though. Wait, what? From what she normally had?...Okay, this was creeping her out. What did she normally have, anyway? She started thinking about it, but then she realized she was realizing things way too much. She wondered how she thought that up in the first place...then she realized she was being silly and thinking about stuff too much.

"So where are you from?" The pony asked. After a second of thinking it over, Timeshift shrugged. It was the honest truth, after all, Nothing more to it. Well, there might be more...what could she say? She decided to shrug it off.

"Thats a very good question." Timeshift said, chewing the muffin and savoring it as much as she could. "I cannot seem to remember who I am, or where I came from. All I remember is my name." Timeshift added, hoping this pony could lead her in the right direction. If she lead them in the wrong direction she could be in some hot water...wait, what? She facehoofed for realizing things she shouldn't again. "So, who are you?"

Nicolas snapped to from his rampant thoughts of conspiracy as he heard more voices around him. Glancing at the other ponies, he noticed that they all seemed to be awake, and some were chattering about with each other at this point. Here he was, sitting in the shade, pondering on things, making up all kinds of possibilities as to why this might be happening, and they were over there deliberating with each other, no doubt. Perhaps some of them are used to this already, and maybe they even have some answers!

'I'll go over there and ask some questions! Can't be too serious; I don't want to seem like I'm interrogating them or anything, but I need some answers!' he thought to himself, 'All righty. Let's go!' He attempted to take a step, but kind of wobbled and toppled over instead. "Ah, Jesus!" he exclaimed, flailing around a bit in frustration before standing back up much more ably than when he first woke up. 'Just put move one foot, then the other... then the other, and the other. Damn these hooves! Why must there be four of them!?'

Nicolas awkwardly took a step forward with his front right hoof, followed by his front left, and his hind legs began to slide backwards on the wet grass, causing his limbs to stretch a bit before he flopped onto the ground on his belly. Letting out a loud grunt, he rolled over onto his side, pulling his legs back in and then rolling back onto him as he was so used to doing by this point. 'Okay, I should know how to do this! Horse movement isn't rocket science or anything! Let's see... One front foot, then the opposite foot in the back, then the foot in front of that and opposite rear of it... Sounds about right. I think.' Placing his front right hoof forward, followed by his rear left, he leaned awkwardly forward and had great difficulty moving his other front leg. 'Okay, okay, I took too big of steps. How do I reverse this?' Trying to pull his rear hoof back again, it simply slid in the grass a bit again and led to him ultimately toppling over once more.

@@Legendary Emerald,

@@Aureity,

"Augh! I've had enough of this!" Nicolas moaned exasperatedly. Flailing his hooves around a bit, he orientated himself on his side with his belly facing towards the ponies he wanted so badly to interrogate. "Forward, ho!" He whispered excitedly to himself as he began to roll through the grass on his side towards the other ponies. The world was a blur around him as he tumbled along the ground, awkwardly twirling his body along the ground, seeing sky, trees and grass in a constant loop. Suddenly, he saw something else; A red blur and then a sharp pain in his side as he rolled directly into the legs of a red, angry looking pony.

Eyes shooting open widely, Nicolas let out a stammering apology. "Oops, um... Uh... I'm s-sorry!" He rolled away from her a bit and scrambled to stand up, nearly losing his balance and falling over again, but managing to keep his posture. Looking over, he saw a white pony next to a picnic basket. These two seemed to be fighting over food! What did he get himself into? No doubt these test subjects were forced to compete for food as some kind of ridiculous experiment on survival. Standing there, sure that he'd be unable to really do much should he try to actually move, he hoped that he didn't just get himself into a whole heap of trouble.

The facial expression upon Ice Storm's face when from okay to annoyed very quickly. Not only had everypony completely ignored everything that she had said and the questions that she had asked, but they had also continued about as if she wasn't even there. She had fallen through and gotten picked up in this dreamworld as they were calling it just as they had. She would be the first to admit that this felt way too surreal to be real. It was always something that she had dreamed of every night back at home, and the fact that she was here now, well. She never gets that lucky. On the off chance that it was real though, she wasn't going to waste her time wondering how to get back. She was in a whole new land with endless opportunities to live an entirely new life.

She looked around trying to find somepony to talk to, preferable not engaged in conversation at the moment, because even if at a first glance most of the ponies came off as rude from completely ignoring her, the situation overall granted some leeway. After all, everypony here right now, at least that she was aware of, had been cause up in the same thing that she had, and from the sounds of things didn't like the change. It also sounded like some of them didn't know what was going on and she noticed them gathering around another white mare in the area, also a Unicorn. She began to approach as she heard mentions of food, and shortly after yelling.

Upon hearing the small bit of yelling, she began to move towards them faster before noticing a brownish color pony tumbling down the hillside directly for a reddish colored pony. Just as she was about to warn the other pony they had collided, and it looked relatively painful. She rushed up beside them. "Is everypony okay? That looked like that hurt!" she said to them in a concerned voice. Even if things weren't perfect for everypony, one thing that she was definitely sure of was that no pony needed to be hurt at the moment. That everypony here probably had enough on their plates that dealing with an injury. She looked up to the others that were in the area while she waited for these two to respond. "Hi, I'm Ice Storm," she introduced finally, being the first time she's mentioned her name with in the group of these ponies.

I can't remember my name. I can hardly remember anything. Why?

Numbers focused his mind. There had to be some explanation for his amnesia. After several moments of deep thought, he began to piece together certain things. His amnesia may have clouded his mind, but he was certain of one thing. He hadn't always been a pony. At one point, he had been something completely different - a human. Happy with this knowledge, he decided to focus his thoughts on what happened immediately before he found himself in a strange new land. Slowly, he began to see flashes of a memory.

He was running. Not running from anything or to anything, simply running. He could see some type of crack on the ground - jagged and glowing. For whatever reason, he had no reaction as he continued running towards it. He seemed to be distracted by something, some thought. Finally, he stepped onto the glowing crack and immediately began to sink into the ground. Then darkness.

All of that, just so I could become a pony. There is no rational explanation for this. None at all. Unless… Numbers felt his mind wandering again. This time, visions of a fantastic world fueled his thoughts. He saw humans, humans everywhere, wearing rudimentary armor and wielding blades. They were fighting. Words surfaced from his unconscious mind - knights, chivalry, honor. Then the image was gone. What…

That's when the thought hit him, perhaps he was here for some purpose. Some greater purpose! Perhaps he was here to make some kind of positive impact on this world. As Numbers looked around at the group of multicolored ponies, he couldn't even begin to figure how his thought connected with his present circumstances. This place, this world… So many bright colors, such a cheery atmosphere. How could this place have any turmoil? It seemed ridiculous. Such an idyllic setting.

@@Nico, @@Legendary Emerald, @,

His thoughts were interrupted by a sudden event. One of the ponies, struggling to find his feet had managed to roll directly into the red pony that Numbers had noticed behaving aggressively earlier. He hit the red pony with full force. Numbers couldn't help himself, he laughed like a lunatic. His laughter was loud and shrill, and the more he laughed, the louder and more shrill his laughter grew.

Realizing how bad he was looking, he tried to stop laughing. But, his attempts to stifle his laughter were completely useless and only made his head hurt. Tears began to roll out of his eyes, his sides began to sting with pain, and he collapsed into a heap while continuing with wild, completely manic laughter. After a few moments, he was rolling around on his back kicking his legs in the air. Completely out of control, he accidentally kicked the purple pegasus in the side.

What the heck am I doing?! Laughter. Uncontrollable laughter. Here… Now? This will only end in disaster. Mustering every ounce of self-control he had, Numbers managed to stop laughing for just a moment and stand. But then, one look at the disgruntled red pony and the pony that had crashed into her sent him back into his laughter convulsions. Despite his laughter, he could only think of one rather somber thought. I'm doomed.

Hearing a scream, he realized that he had been rudely staring so he quickly looked away from the white pony wearing the fedora and observed what what going on around him.

He noticed that more ponies were waking up and joining in the group. He heard the phrase "everypony" and "anypony" being used and guessed that this must be the local sayings wherever he was. He also noticed that almost all the ponies had some sort of symbol on their flanks. He turned to check his own and saw a single source of light with with many rays emanating from it. "Hmm... light..." he thought, pondering what it could mean.

He also heard the other ponies having trouble remembering their names. When he tried to remember his own he was surprised that he too seemed unable to remember. He could remember everything leading up to the crack but no matter how hard he tried his name did not come to him.

"Well..." he thought. Looking back to the mark on his flank. "I guess this is all I have to go off". The word light itself though seemed incomplete to him so he looked up to the sky to think. The sun was shining but not too brightly and there were no clouds in the sky to be seen. There was a nice cool breeze which made the temperature rather comfortable. "Such a nice day today" he thought to himself.

It then struck him what he could call himself. He remembered how much he was scared of the night and it's darkness so he decided to settle with DayLight as his name.

He then heard a smaller white unicorn offer some food and mention something about stargazing. He guessed that she must be from around here but as there was already a number of ponies talking to her, and he could see her getting overwhelmed from that he decided to not approach her. "Some food would be nice though" he thought, but he wasn't sure exactly what ponies ate here and if he'd like it or not as he can be rather fussy sometimes with what he eats.

"Oh, you ponies saw that crack as well?" she asked wondering if maybe it had been the cause. "Oh well, this is actually a relief for me. I mean, who would have thought that something so dark an Mysterious would have dropped us all in Equestria. That being said though.... I have no idea where in Equestria we are. So that could pose issues if anypony else doesn't know either. I must ask though.... before I touched the crack in the ground in the United States, I was a guy... Did anypony else suffer a Gender-swap after touching it?" she asked still confused as to how or even why it happened.

Hearing her mention the crack told him that she had gotten here in the same way that they had but he assumed that she must of been here longer then they have, as she referred to the place they where in as "Equestria". He also found it strange and rather amusing that she was unfortunate enough to undergo a gender-swap but had no idea to why this could have happened.

Day did consider going over and talking to her but he felt that she was addressing the group and he didn't feel that he was apart of the group just yet.

He also later over her name to be "Ice Storm". "I think that fits her quite well" he thought glancing over in her direction.

He turned back to the white pony with the fedora and noticed that the female pony he was talking to had gotten distracted from their conversation and turned to another pony that had walked up to her. He couldn't see her face but it was not hard to tell from the way she was acting and what she said that they knew each other and they were more then just "friends".

She then turned back to the white pony with the fedora who went on to introduce himself as Klopp. "What a odd name. Seems to suit him though" he thought, as he couldn't help staring at him for a short while again before snapping himself out of it.

He then turned his attention to the drama that was progressing. It looked like to him it had all started with one pony acting aggressive, then another pony rolling into the enraged pony and finally a third pony laughing uncontrollably. Assessing the situation it made him worry that this was not going to end well. "I hope I can do something if one of them gets hurt" he thought. After thinking this, he felt a slight tingle in his horn but he wasn't paying attention to it due to being focused on what was going to happen next.

@, @,

He grinned at her as she stared at the ground, and smiled even wider as she stared into his eyes. Yes, it was definitely her alright, the eyes confirmed it beyond belief. Plus, he noticed, she was wearing...glasses, and he knew that only she would be a pony that wears glasses as that's just too silly for most.

As she tried to stutter out his name, however, he got a look of curiosity instead: it seemed that she had somehow forgotten his name. As he opened his mouth to remind her, he stopped, and realized that he couldn't remember his own name either! Trying to bite his lips, and then realizing he doesn't have lips anymore, he tried to recall her name at least and found that he could not. It looks like either that crack messed with our memory slightly, or we hit our head on the way down sometime, he thought irritably.

As he thought this, she talked to the pegasus that was also there, who then rather coldly(at least, to him it seemed like that) said that he didn't care about this, assuming it was either a dream, hallucination, or somehow heaven. Biting back a response for a moment, he waited until the Fedora-pegasus gave a name before saying something.

"Well, uh...Klopp, why don't you call me Jack. I know you weren't talking to me, but whatever." He knew he was being somewhat rude replying to a question not directed to him, but he didn't particularly care. "Also, think whatever you want about this world if it makes you happy, but all I'm going to say that if this really was a dream or hallucination, then something would be...off. A mind can't replicate reality without screwing up in some way, shape, or form that is mildly obvious."

Jack heard the commotion nearby, and saw some glimpses of somebody in the group knocking over a particularly mad-looking red unicorn getting knocked over by a regular pony rolling around for some reason. Then there was something that sounded like...uncontrollable laughter. Things seemed to be spiraling out of control in the rest of the group, and thus Jack did not want to get involved with that mess quite yet and simply stayed put, looking at both the pegasus and the unicorn-who-was-his-girlfriend-whose-name-he-could-not-remember.

I've had about enough...”

Serah had gone from trying to get answers from the food bearing pony, to being bumped into by a clumsy oaf. And now another pony, introducing herself as Ice Storm, was asking if they were all okay. Serah ignored the clumsy pony's apology, as well as the catering pony's yammering, and wheeled on the newcomer.

“What sort of name is that?” Serah asked Ice Storm. “Just because you look like a pony, you've abandoned your humanity?”

Serah's hind legs wobbled precariously.

“My name is Serah, and I want to know why I feel like a god damned horse.” she growled, and then stormed off as best she could. Once she was a ways off, she furrowed her brow.

“That's not my birth name, though. Not that I'd want to remember it, even if I could.” Serah thought to herself. “Just what the hell happened to me, anyways?”

@@Aureity, @@Nico,

Ice Storm was appalled by the behavior of this other pony. It was easily apparent that she didn't like the changes that were bestowed upon her but that didn't give her the right to be rude and hurtful to other ponies that were in the area. It wasn't like they could do anything about this situation at the current point in time anyway so it made more sense to Ice Storm to try to get along with everypony than it was to be anything else. "In order for one to actually abandon humanity, one has to actually care about it," she said to the pony named Serah as she stormed off. I think the name Storm would have better fir her. She has an attitude that makes mine look like a bottle rocket... she thought to herself before turning to the other brownish colored pony.

"Since it's fairly obvious she's okay and is too stuck-up to care about anything else, are you okay? That was quite a nasty tumble down that hill, and I'm sure the collision didn't make anything feel better. Is anything broken?" she asked realizing that a vast majority of everypony here probably knew nothing of he anatomy of the Ponies here in Equestria. The only thing that she knew were the shapes. She could assume that they had similar anatomies as to ponies back on earth, but ponies here could talk. That alone meant that things could easily be very different. She turned to the white mare once again, "And what about you? I over heard some yelling earlier and I can only assume that she was being rude and hurtful to you as well, are you okay?" she asked genuinely concerned.

Interruptions were always meaningless to her. The noises of raucous laughter and ridiculousness were something she ignored as she only gave so much as a passing glance to the situation of a very clumsy pony, that intimidating fiery one, and some others she didn't particularly care about. The girl hated to be interrupted in the midst of conversations, or anything that had captured her focus. She narrowed her eyes irately at the distraction which seemed much more meaningless to her than the reuniting with her boyfriend, and turned around to focus exclusively on him... and this "Klopp."

The mare didn't remember Jack being his name exactly. But it sounded close enough to be a suitable alternative. Klopp also seemed strangely fitting to the other pony, and confirmed something to her: That this phenomenon of having forgotten names was not exclusive to her. It made her guilt decrease, as she let out a sigh and realized the implications of the situation.

@,

"Oi! You forgot your girlfriend's name?! What kind of boyfriend are you?!" She slapped him lightly with a hoof, grinning a little playfully as she began to loosen up and feel less awkward.

"Nah, I'm just messing with you... I forgot too. Strange that we all have that in common. I suppose the transformation process was not perfect. I dunno how that crack works. But still. Jack is far too unoriginal of a name for you to have! I cannot accept this. N-now Klopp here... he chose well. I can't really think of many who would have a name spelled in such a strange way. But you? There could be many others here with that name! It needs... something else. Jack... Mustachio? No. Jack... Mustache? Sounds too long. Needs to be shorter... How's about... Jack... Stache! Yes, yes! You are now Jack Stache! But I'll still call you Mustachio sometimes... M-mustachio." She smiled widely at him as her face became tinged with a rather pleasant-feeling crimson. Her stuttering had mostly dissipated, though she still had that rather slow and hesitant tone of speaking at times.

@,

"I'm sorry to tell you though, Klopp... I can't really remember my name. And I can't seem to come up with a suitable one. I... just don't know what to call myself. My apologies." She bowed her head down as she avoided looking directly into his eyes, unlike Jack's, which she had already taken copious stares into to attempt to calm herself from the situation. Though she was getting somewhat used to this already, she still felt like everyone was staring at her despite them being ponies as well.

Her mind was so encapsulated by her appearance, in spite of it probably seeming vain. Was she ugly? Was she pretty? What did she even look like? From what she had seen of herself, she felt pretty damn ridiculous. A unicorn! How girly and silly! Somehow, it fit Mustachio because he was always kind of silly looking, but not her! It made her feel so insecure still.Such insecurity seeped into her actions, as she kept looking herself over, her mind so distracted with the prospect of possibly being ugly that she could not focus on inventing a name. Darn, and she was usually so good at name making!

Her mind stopped her thoughts as she looked down at her own body. She softly sighed as she added,

"I guess we're all ponies. But why is this happening? Just a few minutes ago, I was with my family, and having a wonderful life!" Serene's breath stopped short as she realized what this all meant.

"If I am here now, and not with my family... I may never see them again." As if something inside of her went faulty, the tears within her eyes began to fall like a storm in the rainforest, causing her face to become quickly soaked. The ponies in front of her began to grow hazy as she cried about her missing home, the pain in her heart almost unbearable. So painful, in fact, that she screamed out of frustration as she hit her hoof on the ground.

@, Looking at Numbers' uncontrollable laughter and the situation unfolding. Tich couldn't help but chuckle a bit herself. The laugh of the pony next to her was had stung her making her lose her already delicate stature. She fell over in a burst of laughter. Unable to control her wings or hooves. Her own laugh fueled by that of Numbers. She cried a little muttering "That's so stupid."

She couldn't even feel the kicking of Numbers in her side. She was slightly out of it as well and stuck in a vicious cycle. It got so bad she slightly forgot why she even started laughing in the first place. All she could think of was laughing.

The feeling did subside after a small while. And Tich was getting back to the real world. She got up and regained her composure. Giving the blue pony laughing next to her a good poke. "hey do you know what my name is?" she asked " since people seem to know each other here." She stopped to think. "I'm so rude, what is your name?"

@, @,

This Jack pony had made a decent point, but Klopp was still unconvinced that that he had been placed within a different reality from the one he knew. But soon enough he came to the realization that he wouldn't know reality from a dream even if there was a flashing neon sign in front of him stating which he were in. Thoughts within Klopp's mind started to go haywire, as he tried to recall anything about his past, apart from that blasted glowing crack, completely oblivious to what the tan pony in the red glasses had said to him, as well as anything else going on in the surrounding area.

What am I? I can't be a pony, that's ridiculous! If I am not a pony, then what? Klopp leaned back to sit down and think, tolling backwards onto his spine as he tried to think. He propped himself up on his hind legs, and entered his 'In-Deep-Thought' pose, in which he rested on elbow on his knee, and inquisitively rubbed his chin. I can't even remember my own name, how do you forget your own name, even if you are in a dream? Klopp then began poking himself in the head, in an attempt to kick-start his gray matter into overdrive.

"Think! Come on, what's your name? George? Nonsense. William? Nope. Catherine? That's a guy's name, right? Wait, I overheard that one pony was turned into a female from a male, was I even a male before? How do you even swap genders like that?"

Klopp had been completely unaware that his thoughts transferred to speech for that last heavy think, even after he threw his arms up into the air while yelling out, "Screw it! I give up! I've just gone and lost my memory!"

Whilst doing so, he yet again attempted to stand on two legs, falling onto his already slightly injured left wing, causing him a great deal of pain. As he hit the ground his eyes popped out of his head, pupils dilated, while he clenched his jaw, tightening all the muscles in his cheeks to reveal all his teeth.

He quickly jumped up, flailing his hooves about, eventually landing on his bum, yelling out, "Aahhhhyyouch! Okay, I get it! This is real, and wings are very, VERY, sensitive!"

Klopp began bending all sorts of awkward ways in an attempt to reach the pain with his hooves, hoping to rub away the pain. His attempts failed, and he just made himself look like a crazy fool by doing so. He finally settled on a comfortable pose, laying on his right side, curled into a ball with his painful left wing extended ever so slightly upward.

After discovering this comforting position, his brain turned off and he came back to reality, suddenly realizing that all of the ponies around him just saw every crazy, silly, thing he had just done and said. Klopp turned a few different shades of red before tilting his head to the pair of loveponies nearby, followed by the release of a very ridiculous and nervous grin.

All she remembers...is her name? Aurora wondered. She wasn't sure what to make of this odd bunch. They couldn't possibly be travelers, she had figured out that much. None of the scruffy-looking ponies currently gathering their thoughts together had any basic long-distance traveling supplies. And they definitely weren't from Ponyville - Aurora had lived in the quiet, peaceful town long enouh to figure out who was new and who was old. For a second, her mind flickered to a possibility she hadn't considered before. What if they're criminals living off the land? Aurora's smile flickered slightly as she appraised the pony before her.

"I-I'm Aurora Flare," Aurora stammered cautiously, now unsure of the pony's intentions. "I-I work in the Ponyville Planetarium just south of Sugarcube Corner..." Hoping that the introduction would suffice, she gave a nervous smile, even as she involuntarily flicked her tail in a panic. Glancing behind her instinctively to see what the aggresive red pony from earlier was up to, Aurora saw a blur as yet another one of the ponies took the opportunity to barrel directly at them. Aurora flinched again and leaped backwards, before realizing that the pony's target was not her, but rather the red pony behind her. Her heart sank - they all were crazy, but her spirits soared again as soon as she saw the red pony give a hiss of frustration and trot off away from the group.

With the threat of an infuriated pony advancing on her suddenly gone, Aurora found it much easier to breathe feely, and even managed to pull off a genuine smile at the ponies around her, although her heart was still thumping a mile in her chest. "Hello, Ice Storm," she said cheerfully to a blue-maned pony -by now, she wasn't surprised at how many there were- that introduced herself. "And I'm fine - it wasn't too much of a commotion, and nopony got hurt."

She them remembered the brown-coated pony that was still lying on the ground where the red one had stormed off. Her concern her the stranger outweighing her fear of the bunch of oddballs, she frowned and said in a worried tone, "Um...you aren't hurt, are you?"

@@Aureity,

"Astronomy huh, You really think so? Hmm, so your saying the marks, or cutie marks as you call them, represent your interest? I guess that kinda makes sense," said Starry, thinking about it before continuing, "It does kinda suit me, I guess that's because I love looking at the night sky and gaze at the stars, but this mark, It seemed familiar to me, I've seen it before, however, I can't remember what it's called. Oh yeah, please do me a favor and not tell me what my cutie mark is, I'd like to find out what it is on my own." She smiled and closed her eyes. "Okay?"

"Great, I can't remember anything!! Why's that? Is this even a dream? Or some cartoonish nightmare?" Then her mind turned to the fact that she is a pegasus, "Why am I a pegasus while most of the others are different breeds? At least the one with the fedora is a pegasus, and the one with the goggles is another one, hmm, this might also add to a mystery to why I'm a pegasus, the red and tan ponies are unicorns, and the green one's just a regular pony, no wings nor horn. Okay, I'll have to think about this later, I need to take care of this first." Referring to her chat with Aurora.

"Um...thanks for the muffin, I enjoyed it a lot, but I have to go.....uh...see ya." She said, waving to her and trotting away to a field where some of the others where. Once she was there, she thought about her wings.

"So, if I'm a pegasus, that means, I could fly correct? Hmm, guess I should try then." First, she spreads her wings wide open, "Ehhh? These wings look kind of......small," Next she flapped her wings to create lift, "Hey...I guess this isn't bad, this is amazing!" As she was hovering just 3 feet above, she looked down at the ground and.........well....she freaked out. "EEEEKK!" She screeched, fell down, and got hurt a bit "Owwwww. I guess flying's not so easy," The reason why she freaked out is simply because...and unknowingly.....She has a fear of heights, even 3 feet above the ground scares Starry to her bones.

Serah sat down under a nearby tree, resting her back against its trunk. From here she had a good view of all of the other ponies, and didn't have to deal with their insipid dialogue or their bodies tumbling into her.

"Wake up, find out you're a pony. Do nothing but play meet and greet." Serah silently fumed. "They're all clueless. Better off figuring things out myself."

Serah began to search her own thoughts for the events that had lead her to her current predicament.

"Was being chased. Police. Not likely responsible for this." Serah recalled. "Then... gap in memory. Nothing but a bright green glow. Woke up a unicorn..."

Serah pounded the ground with a forehoof.

"Ridiculous. No simple drug has effects like this. And feels too vivid to be a dream." she thought. "Stargazing mare said we're near 'Ponyville'. Never seen that on a map. Is this even earth?"

The more she thought, the more clueless she realized she was.

"Wasting my time. No answers this way." she concluded. "Need a cigarette. Or someone to beat the sh*t out of."

@,

He grinned at his girlfriend as she came up with a name for him, being amused by the name she came up with.

"What, you don't like my name? And you didn't need to slap me, silly!", he said, nudging her and grinning even wider. "Oh well, I like the name you came up with anyways. At least, there's no possible way for somebody to have that name, so." He said that last part in a rather rambly and awkward tone, as he is prone to do at times.

"Anyways, you need a name! Since, you know, you can't remember your own. Hmm..." He sat and thought for a few seconds, before suddenly saying "OH! How about Artsy? You are very artistic, after all."

@,

Jack suddenly turned to Klopp, who was starting to shout out something about not remembering anything. Then suddenly, Klopp attempted to stand up on two legs...and failed miserably, landing on his wing and shouting something else about pain and wings and real. Jack didn't really notice, as he was too busy holding back laughter at the whole situation. When Klopp looked him and Artsy(if she took the name, that is), he only barely managed to swallow his laughter long enough to ask "Do you need help to get up, man?"

@,

She gave a nonplussed stare in Klopp's direction. It was evident that he had not heard a word that had come out of her mouth and that he was stuck in some sort of strange comedic situation that involved rambling random nonsense about a... gender swap? Euck. At least that didn't happen to her.

Why did everyone seem to be doing that lately? They somehow had trouble even standing! And why did they bother to attempt to stand on two legs? They were now quadrupedial horselike creatures, and nothing would be gained from old human ways. Personally, she found it quite easy and comfortable in this position. Already, she had taken to her new stance... it was something she could get used to even if the lack of opposable limbs might be a hassle.

Though admittedly, those wings might have been what were giving him trouble. She mused that perhaps, she would also feel the same trouble. Good thing she only had a horn and she didn't even have to think about it. An advantage of being a unicorn.

"Well... I don't think you should try that again. Just... uh... yeah."

@,

The words of Jack suddenly hit her rather belatedly. He had attempted to give her a name... a rather unoriginal name based on her qualities. But it appeared that such was the norm for ponies as she had unconsciously observed. (she noticed one had deemed themselves Ice Storm in the vague listenings of background noises. Was that the poor soul who had swapped genders? Euck, don't think about that!) "Well, at least you remember that... even without falling into the crack, you and I wouldn't be surprised that you forgot that with that horrid memory of yours!" She grinned somewhat playfully.

The so-far unnamed mare put a hoof to her chin pensively as she allowed the name to wash over her. Artsy... Artsy... was that something she could get used to? The answer was...

"Yes. But... like your name, it's rather unoriginal. Needs a spice. I remember several of my old names began with the letter A... and one in particularly had a last name beginning with D... D... this might possibly be a dream, might not... Dreams.... Dreams... sparkle? No, I do NOT sparkle... Dreams... Dreamscapes! My name is now Artsy Dreamscapes! Yes, yes, I like this! It makes me think of my old name, and yet... appears suitable for this form. Thank you, honey." The newly deemed Artsy gave him a little smile which was accompanied by a big blush, then pecked him on the cheek. At least she could still kiss in this form. Afterwards, she turned her attention back to the strangely positioned Klopp.

He had just regained the ability to pay attention in time to hear that the tan pony in the glasses name was 'Artsy Dreamscapes', and then saw Jack trying to hold in a laugh before asking if Klopp needed a hand. With this new-found realization that he was in neither a dream nor a hallucination, he responded without hesitation as he rolled onto his back and spoke.

"YES! Yes, I do need help getting up. I can't even get used to this silly pony body at all. You wouldn't think standing on all fours would be so hard, eh? But it most certainly is for me. I can't walk straight without falling over, I can't seem to grasp that I simply won't be able to walk on two legs."

Klopps voice picking up the pace, and getting more frantic as he continues to speak.

"And just what are these stupid wings for? I don't even know how to get them to flap! They just move wherever they please, and if I ever do get the hang of them, I'll probably just be flying into trees and hills or just plain falling out of the sky!"

The manly pony in the fedora rolled back onto his side, staring off into the distance as everything begins to blur from the tears welling up in his eyes. Just deciding it was best not to hold back, he just started bawling and let the tears come flowing out of his eye sockets like a waterfall during a season with heavy rain.

"I just don't know what to do! I don't care what my life used to be, I just want to go back to whatever I was before that dumb crack! How can I live like this!? HOW!? I'm like a baby! I can't even walk, I probably can't even crawl! See?! Watch!

He then proceeded to flop onto his stomach, and gave it his best attempt to crawl his way through the grass. Bringing his back legs forward, extending his front legs as far out as he could manage, he pushed forward and up with all his might. Unfortunately all his might was too much and he just ended up flying through the air, flipping twice before landing face first into the ground, dragging about a foot along before coming to a halt right in front of Artsy and Jack, his fedora had fallen off resting between the two. Klopp pushed up with the front legs to bring his head up, he gave the most sad face he could as the tears kept flowing with great force as he said a few final words.

"See? I'm WORTHLESS as a pony! What good am I if I can't even move without having major problems and WHY MUST THIS WING HURT SO MUCH! Someone please just fix everything! Make it stop, I don't want to be a stupid pegasus!"

His last words spoken as he flop he head back onto the grass in front of him, covering his eyes with his hooves and continued sobbing non-stop over the fact that he was a clumsy useless pony, and there was not a thing he could do to change it.

(OOC: I should be asleep, sorry bout the short post)

After Starry barely got up from the ground, she felt embarrassed that she couldn't fly, all because of her extreme fear of heights, "Jeez, why am I pegasus if I'm scared of heights? If this was a dream, why am I one? I could've been a beautiful unicorn like her," Referring to the tan pony. "I feel lost, I don't know what to do, why does it have to end up like this?"

@,

Afterwards, Starry had feelings of sadness and despair, and she was about to cry...till she saw the pony with the fedora sobbing. "Huh? Why's the tough fedora pony crying?" Then she saw that he has wings too, "Eh? He's a pegasus too? How come I didn't see that in the first place? Hmm, maybe he can't fly too? Should comfort I him? But then he looks scary, no no no, I should help him!"

With a caring heart, she went up to the sobbing pegasus, "Poor guy, he must be experiencing the same thing as I am, I gotta help him," As soon as she was close by, she paused, then started petting his head "Um...it's okay...uh..If it's about flying...um.. your not alone, I'm a pegasus too, and I can't fly as well. It's alright, err....how about a gentle hum?"

Aurora Flare watched Starry Sky walk off and ran a hoof through her mane, perplexed. First a pony that didn't know their own name, another that didn't remember anything about them, and now this. Not to mention the violent pony (red was an appropriate color for that one), who mercifully seemed to have wandered off, the socially awkward green pony, and the clumsy pony that had barrel rolled into the conversation. As she gave the remaining ponies a cursory glance, her confusion mounted until it seemed as if it would burst through her skull. None of them seemed to know how to walk - watching them, Aurora almost felt like she was babysitting her little brother again as he learned to propel his legs forward.

Well, at least I know they're not convicts and murderers on the run from the law, she thought, amused. This bunch couldn't run from a newborn colt, much less the royal guards. With that comforting thought in her mind, she felt a bit more at ease watching them stumble across the meadow, occasionally tripping and falling as their flailed their hooves. Aurora had to work hard to supress another giggle before her curiosity turned her thoughts back to who the group was and what they were doing.

Maybe Celestia swapped their minds with that of baby fillies as punishment, Aurora thought after a while of quiet pondering. Or...maybe there's a new disease in Equestria that affects the minds of adolescent and adult ponies. Oh no...might I have caught it as well? After several other conspiracy theories that grew steadily wilder and wilder, culminating into a convulted scheme of Princess Luna's that involved feathers, cutie marks, and poison joke, Aurora gave up and settled herself down among the tall grass to watch the group's progress in learning basic movement.
