I say Rainbow Dash, you just can't compete with that speed, and unless she screws up (which she obviously won't), nopony will catch her.

That's an interesting match up. I think that Celestia would win that fight. After all she is the older one of the two and have more experience with magic than Luna.

If it's between the mane 6 then I'd say Twilight. I mean, what good is speed and strength when you can't even move. Magic beats all.

Rarity would stand a chance but Twilight is so much better at magic than her.

in a all out battle royal based on all that is cannon. i think Applejack would win because she has the strength and endurance and you can bring up Rainbowdash's speed all you want, but she just needs to get hit once and the momentum of her speed will be her down fall Twilight would be a good runner up if she uses her magic but she'd likely just slow them down and not do much damage.

Thats not really fair for her character. If you put her in the fight she has to be able to acually fight. In this case the others wouldnt be fighting either so I still say Fluttershy.

She is amazing at kung-fu like you said witch is a huge plus to hoof to hoof combat. Like in most kungfu movies the small kungfu guy always beats the big burly streetfighter so applejack has no chance. She has wings even if she isnt a strong flyer And she has the stare witch rendered a dragon and a cockatrice usless. I say shes pretty strong in my book.

I think Rainbow verses A.J. would be good. Apple Jack would probably win. And Discord beats anypony in a one on one. you can look it up every time that he has been beaten it was at least 2 on 1

Twilight vs. Applejack- Applejack if Twilight gets behind her WHAM!

Rainbow Dash vs. Pinkie- Well Pinkies ability to bounce at a lightning fast speed that seems to be far greater then Rainbow seems to be the deciding factor in this one. Pinkie would win.

Fluttershy vs. Rarity- Rarity, Fluttershy wouldn't want to battle.

Discord vs. Queen Chrysalis- Discord would win. His powers are basically unmatched.

Luna vs. Celestia- Luna would win. She could blend in with her surroundings easier then Celestia could.

Applejack: 9/10 - Amazing power, Can beat Rainbow Dash. Probably would have a tough match against Fluttershy because she can own a bear.

Rarity: 5/10 - Okay power. Okay with magic. Complains a lot. Probably would lose to most ponies she battles, but she does kick really good, see how she kicked that manticore?

Rainbow Dash: 7/10 - I have no idea what her power is. Amazing speed and dodging abilities.

Pinkie Pie: 7/10 I have no idea what her power is. Insanely good speed. How did she get to all those places, Like in Party of One or Griffon the Brush-Off?

Twilight Sparkle: 10/10 She doesn't need power when she has the best magic ever besides Celestia and Luna. Could possibly even beat Celestia or Luna.

Fluttershy: 8/10 Amazing power, she owned a bear! Probably average in speed, she improved her speed in Hurricane Fluttershy.

Discord is the spirit of a fundamental law of nature, who's powers are ridiculously powerful, easily to the point of surpassing Celestia. As far we know, he can only be defeated by the Elements of Harmony, so unless it's the Mane 6 he's fighting and they are granted the elements, or, we're talking the distant past in which Celestia and Luna controlled the elements, then he pwns everyone else in the show that could possibly be matched up with him.

I'd say Twilight would win in a free for all between the 6. Although she has never shown any talent in offensive spells, TK and Teleportation can be murder. Next up is RD, she's insanely fast so she might be able to hit Twi before she has a chance to cast a spell, and then she can just pick off the rest. Rarity is next, because she can also use magic, but she is not anywhere near as powerful as Twi. AJ is 4th, she's strong and somewhat fast, and could take a lot of hits before going down. However she can't fly and isn't as fast as RD. I can't actually give a place to Flutters or Pinkie, because I have no idea what they could do, but Fluttershy has shown that she can easily beat a bear, and she could apply this in combat. Pinkie: No idea. Could take any of these positions, be stronger than Twi or weaker than Flutters when she's not in a combat situation.
