I've finally done it! After 10+ years of amazing music I have finally narrowed down my list of all time favorite songs. I even found room for a Brony song. I know this has probably been discussed before, but what the heck. What are everyone else's top ten favorites?

1) “September” by Earth, Wind and Fire

2) “I Believe I Can Fly” by R. Kelly

3) “Man in the Mirror” by Michael Jackson

4) “The Logical Song” by Supertramp

5) “A Long Way from Equestria” by MandoPony & AcousticBrony

6) “Will You Still Love Me” by Chicago

7) “Just My Imagination” by The Temptations

8) “Living Inside Myself” by Gino Vannelli

9) “Best of my Love” by The Emotions

10) “Laughter in the Rain” by Neil Sedaka

Do you have any idea how hard it is for me to decide on a top ten??? I mean narrowing it down to 50 is hard enough...10 is just impossible...there's so many songs I really like...wow, I don't think I could narrow it down, but I'll try and edit this post later. Man, I'm probably gonna have to leave out so many songs I really love...

I know what you mean. For me I believe it's easier because I make my decisions quickly and I know what I like when I hear it. But I know soon enough that I will be remembering other songs that will be begging me for a place on this list.

I'll try, I listen to so much music but I'll do my best to narrow down a top 10, even though my mind changes a lot

10 "Are You Dead Yet" Childrean of Bodom
9 "My Heart is a Tomb" Ghost Brigade
8 "Death Blooms" Mudvayne
7 "Walk with me in Hell" Lamb of God
6 "Trash" Korn
5 "Monster" Stemm
4 "Take this Life" In Flames
3 "Redemption" Shadows Fall
2 The whole Dark Side of the Moon album by Pink Floyd

1 "Hemmorhage(In My Hands)" Fuel

thats my quick guess gonna leave it at this, cause I know i could replace most of these songs

Okay I think I've got my list. I limited it to one song per artist to make it easier, plus I didn't want a bunch of songs from one artist taking up the list lol

1. "The Trees" by Rush

2. "Wake Up" by Rage Against the Machine

3. "One" by Metallica

4. "Remenissions" by Avenged Sevenfold

5. "Panic Attack" by Dream Theater

6. "Prequel to the Sequel" by Between the Buried and Me

7. "Hangar 18" by Megadeth

8. "Have a Blast" by Periphery

9. "Welcome Home" by Coheed and Cambria

10. "Cyco Vision" by Suicidal Tendencies

Man, there's so many songs I love that I had to leave out...

Oh geez, this is like the hardest question ever... But I'll try... But I'm not putting them in any order here, that might help me a little bit. xD

Touch Me by The Doors

Beginnings by Chicago

Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is? by Chicago

Our Mutual Friend by The Divine Comedy

I Can't Tell You Why by The Eagles

One Fine Morning by Lighthouse

If and When We Rise Again by Streetlight Manifesto

Love You To by The Beatles

We Will Fall Together by Streetlight Manifesto

Hemmorhage (In My Hands) by Fuel

That was hard... D: And still may not be accurate. Oh well.

7 "Walk with me in Hell" Lamb of God

Really? Walk with me in Hell? Ashes of the Wake was such a better album than Sacrament. Laid to Rest, Hourglass, The Faded Line, Remorse is for the Dead, etc.

My favorite LoG song is probably either Laid to Rest or The Faded Line.

Ok, here is my list. I thought long and hard (giggles), but I've made my decision. If it was up to me, my list would be almost nothing but tech death, but I felt the need to be a little varied here. Also, the order is something I pulled out ass.

"Kashmir" has persisted as my favourite song for years.
The hypnotic main riff, combined with Bonzo's menacing drumming build the excitement up to just the perfect degree, and then release it in the cascading part in the bridge of the song.
This beautifully and intricately crafted piece of pure bliss has the power to transport you away to another world, and it is truly the quintessential Led Zeppelin song, as well as Jimmy's ultimate crowning achievement as a composer.

Also, that horrible feel when you will *never* write something so revolutionary.

I have quite a lot of favorite songs, but this is my current favorite:

I love how it goes from quiet to loud, I adore songs that do that, so I obviously enjoyed this one.

@Gabby_Gumz, since you seem to be looking for members to share their favorite songs and posting one of your own, I've merged your topic with an older thread that we already had for that purpose. Just letting you know :)

I tend to get obsessed with all sorts of songs and my favorite changes all the time, but one that will always stand out to me is A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall, by Bob Dylan.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIbxcE6VITM

It just feels like there are so many ways you could interpret it, and it's a good song for long walks when you need to think about things.
