What's your computer set-up?

Nothing really significant in this thread, so Forum Lounge. Just stupid curiosity.

 

I've always got my laptop hooked up to the television in the living room via HDMI cable. I have it to where I drag a page to the top of the laptop screen, it transitions over to the TV. So, two screens. I usually put on some anime or maybe YouTube videos on the screen, then work on stuff on my laptop. If I don't have it connected to the TV, I have it at my desk, hooked up to this station thing that has an external fan, so it doesn't overheat, because I'll usually be gaming if it's not connected to the TV. And of course gaming causes more work for the computer, so I don't want it getting hot on me.

Hmm. I have a giant grey bean bag in the corner of my dorm and a power cable so I can use my computer while I sit. Thats it. Just a mac air, some decent head phones, the charger and occasionally a soda lol

 

Also, I would just like to mention that your computer is fine when it gets hot. It's suppose to. Most modern laptops, and I'm sure desktops, have a built in heat sensor that shuts off your computer when the heat presents danger. My mac air runs around 170 - 180 when I play Skyrim xD

My laptop expels heat about as efficiently as I can asexually reproduce. It's always been like that. Might be the 3.9 GHz processor in there..

I have my laptop set up in my dinning room, directly across from the TV in the living room so I can watch TV while i'm at the computer. Or so I can access my computer through my Xbox (still trying to get that to work.....). I also have a Yamaha keyboard connected to the laptop for musical purposes

Got my eMac set up in my bedroom, on a desk I've had since I was three that is literally falling apart. (It completely did so during my recent move, currently held together with duct tape and a few nails.) Simple $30 office chair.

 

My laptop is set up on my lap, either on my couch or chair at home and on a table when I go to McDonalds to use the wi-fi (frequenly.)
