The original idea for the blog and how to customize it for MLP forums were things that I cannot take credit for. Basically, I am here in the capacity of a sort of “construction engineer”. The architects give me the plans, and I build. You're very welcome! :3 And as for the job, are you saying that basically it was IPS that had the blog application already there, just you needed to code it or something like that? Or was this exclusive to MLP Forums, or what? My journey in the fandom started on April 5, 2012. I joined here on April 24, 2012. Where that journey is headed now, who knows... Titan Rising 2,156 August 27, 2012 Share August 27, 2012 (edited) Very cool, I've said before there should be somewhere people can post between the status update and an actual forum because the status update thing is so small. My only concerns are whether theres any way to access or see recent forum blogs from the main page? It seems like you can only get to it by scrolling over the community tab at the top. I think it would be better if there was an area off to the right of the page where the status update/birthday/calender/donation things are so people wouldn't have to go to another page to see whats new. It might not fit perfectly but maybe you could just say something like "Recent blog by ______"? Or maybe you could make it so you could collapse the donation/calender/birthday/status update tabs to make more room. Great job, Scoots! I really enjoy this new feature, after taking ten minutes to make an entry earlier, mess with tags and categories and my main blog page I can happily say this is an apparent feature that is nothing but helpful and fun to use. It allows people to not only traverse past the limitations of Status Updates, but gives users yet another personal area for them to customize as they want. It will probably get spammed by things that doesn't make much sense and the only blogs that will be read are those who have a high status on the forum. Anyway, I don't seem to be getting notifications for comments. I posted something last night, and checked my notifications this morning. There were non related to my blog post, so I decided to check manually, to make sure I had followed the post. It turns out that I was following the post, yet did not get notifications for any of the comments. This proves that you're Tech Moderator ready Now for my opinion: I really like the idea of this, however I won't be using it. I'm not much of a blogger. Also, I kind of feel like most blog posts will never even be glanced at. It'll be like talking to a wall. The only members who will get their blogs read are the really popular/well-known ones.
