Favourite FanFic Genre?

Anyways, I like Dark, Grimdark, Adventure, Shipping (I want a Pinkie Pie in the mail, too!), Comedy and Slice of Life.

The Shipping part wasn't serious.

 

I picked multiple because my favorite is Fallout: Equestria. Which fits into many of those categories. I just didn't know which it fit into best.

 

Fallout: Equestria just... blew my mind, it blew my bucking mind.

 

You know, using the word "Buck" as a replacement for "Fuck" reeaaally changes the meaning of "Apple Bucking Season."

I personally love Romantic, lovey dovey stories, all the things that I've never really had a chance at, there was also another fan fic that i feel in love with featuring Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo, it was really sweet, and such was touching deeply in the feels.

I actually now have become a fanfic addict thanks to this discussion. I'm currently reading a fanfiction that is 31 chapters long and has about 6,000 words per chapter. Not saying it is a bad thing though because I nearly peed my self i was laughing so hard from this one. It is called Anthropology and so far it has been a conspiracy about Celestia covering up the fact that humans existed and Lyra is on the hunt for evidence.

 

!!!!!SPOILERS AT THIS POINT NOW!!!!!

The parts that I laughed the hardest at is when Lyra becomes human and eats a burger, which causes her to freak out that meat tastes so evilly delicious and when she eats a flower in the house she is staying at and comments about how it has spoiled because it tastes bitter.

 

 

That's one of my personal favourites, the ending is great. If you want to read a big epic fanfic ever I HIGHLY recommend "It's a dangerous business going out that door" it takes epically awesome to a whole new level

Geez another epic story I have so many to read now I'm getting swamped. Also a quick recommendation to you "Mission Implausible" and "Smoke and Mirrors" they both are average length and are extremley good.

I'm going to have to go with grimdark, it's by far my favorite of all I read, plus it feels like it won't be an actual episode so it's kinda unique and unexpected. (if any of my explanation makes sence)

My favorite fanfic genre is shipping. If I could choose two genres, then I would choose sad as the second one. I really like sad fanfics. My Little Dashie is the only story that has been able make me cry. There has been no other stories/books/movies that have done that.. I also like slice of life and comedy and pretty much all of the other genres too.

Grimdark nuff said...I actually like them because like me they are different and not the most popular genre. I enjoy stories with an... unhappy ending. My Little Pony is sort of like a Utopia but I rather enjoy reading Dystopia style stories c:

My favorite is adventure. I don't mind if it has some sad or dark elements, but I avoid grimdark when it comes to MLP fictions. 

 

I get more than enough media that is extremely dark and violent elsewhere. When I watch/read something involving MLP I prefer to keep it happier and more constructive and beautiful.
