When I was younger, I was always a Cartoon Network kid. Every show was great! From Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Courage, Dexter, Power Puff, Billy and Mandy, and everything in between! When all of those shows inevitably cancelled, I figured that was the "end of the road" for me for Cartoon Network. I gave their new programing an unbiased chace, but I could never get into any of the shows (With the exception of Adventure Time, but I suppose that's another post ;O ).

One day I was flicking channels, when I came across a show called "Regular Show". I've heard of it in comericals, etc. and it looked pretty cool so I decided to give it a legitment chance. It was the one where Rigby changes his name to Trashboat and I immediately fell in love the show. I found It had a sort of nostalgic feel to it in the sense that it felt like a 90's show, the voice acting seemed so natural, and the characters all had unique, yet realistic traits to them. After watching a few more epsoides, my view on the show only got better! The writting is perfection, and shows a much more "edgy" style, something you don't see a lot in Cartoon Network's current programing. I'm confident in saying that they could put the same show, as is, on Adult Swim, and the ratings would turn out great eithor way!

 

Anways, what's everyone's elses view on this show? Like it, hate it? If you have never heard of it, I highly recomend it! :]

YES a Regular Show thread! Personally I LOVE the show and have been a fan for about a year now. I have a ritual every Monday for the new episode. I turn off all the lights in my room, pop some popcorn and turn on the surround sound. I actually look forward to Mondays because that means there is a new Regular Show.

In my opinion, Adventure Time and Regular Show are the only shows that keep me on Cartoon Network, knowing that all my childhood shows don't show anymore was an upsetting moment for me, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friend's especially :[

Same for me I’m not too big an Adventure Time fan but it comes on before Regular Show and it does make me laugh, I think they are by far the best shows on Cartoon Network right now. I miss my old shows too. I really loved Courage the Cowardly Dog, even though back then it really scared me and made it hard for me to sleep at night it was and still kind of is a favorite of mine.

Regular Show definitely has my vote as one of the best shows on the air, currently. Gotta love the characters and crazy stuff that happens to them. XD

No doubt it was funny, but I have to say, Bailey Peppersprout you are one brave guy and/or gal because it really frightened me. I can’t remember the name of the episode but it’s the one where that guy keeps saying “return the slab” gave me nightmares for about a week, that said though I’m a huge weenie when it comes to scary stuff.

 

Yeah, I love the situations presented in every episode, it will be something as simple as setting up the chairs, and I just love to sit back and ask myself “how is everything going to go wrong this time.” I like to think Discord was somehow banished to the Regular Show universe and he is just tolling Mordecai and Rigby. It would make so much sense.

I do not feel that "fresh air" of the 90's in Regular Show, but I have to admit that Cartoon Network would be crap if it's not for Regular Show, Adventure Time, Ben 10 and Gunball, in my opinion.

 

Regular Show, was really unexpected, I do not recommend it for children, because it has a lot of adult jokes, violence and weirdness (adult weirdness), I found myself really enjoying this show, but I don't know why lol...

I'd like the show a little more if my little sister didn't find nearly ever running gag of the series to be memetically sound. It's kind of annoying when I'm reading to repeatedly hear, "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH!" and that shtick about hamboning.

I actually like Regular show. It is a bit odd, but I like how their world seems to always run into problems. The show is funny and epic! For a new cartoon show, it is not that bad at all C: Personally, I like Muscle Man and Mordecai!!!

this show killed my brain cells... maybe i've been spoiled by cartoons with better story like Young Justice, Spectacular Spiderman and iron man armored adventure (yes i know there a pattern)

but this show has now emotion its like it trying to hard to cram what it thinks is cool but the result is crud.

Regular Show is awesome, it's my second favorite cartoon after MLP of course, I don't know why, but there is always a feeling of Nostalgia watching Regular Show. I even have a Lanyard I wear to school that has Mordecai and Rigby on it.

I love this show so much. It's funny how so many people hate on it just because it's not something they grew up with. (Everyone hates CN just because new shows are being made for a new audience). There's a lot of adult humour in it so yeah, that makes it enjoyable.

 

Same with Adventure Time, gotta love that show too.

Regular Show is the only thing I really watch on cartoon Network. I find it's humor to be twisted enough (though not twisted enough) to be funny to me.

The only episode I like from Regular Show is More Smarter, especially when both Mordecai and Rigby argue at each other in Latin.

 

Also, Benson would be the next Vince McMahon or Donald Trump, in my opinion.

This Halloween my brother and I dressed up as Mordecai and Rigby. I wish I had a photo of us together. I pretty much love tis show nearly as much as I love FiM
