music My first Music Tech assignment.

As you may or may not know, I have a Music Tech class in school, and in it we use Reason (a music sequencer program) to do music thiiiiiiings.

 

Last week we began our first assignment, a 32-bar song, and it was due yesterday. And because it's the class I care the most about, I got it in all finished and on time, and I added extra 33rd bar! Extra credit!

 

So yeah, just felt like it'd be fun to show it off a bit.

I used the melody from Zelda: Ocarina of Time's "Temple of Time/Song of Time" song, hence why I called it a "remix".

I enjoy instrumentals a lot, especially remixes! The Crusade Begins is one of my favorites on YouTube. It is a remix of the CMC theme song. But anyways, this is great! Is it your first try?

Thanks! It's kinda my first try I guess. I practiced in class for a few minutes then I just recorded it and edited it.

 

So yeah, I guess it was. I forgot to mention, this wasn't the first melody I chose. I changed it last minute. At first, it was some crappy cheesy melody I came up with myself. XD

you should call it a cover. when people hear remix they often associate it with a totally new song with segments of the song they remixed. and modern progressive house and dubstep.
