I wasn't actually aware of the fandom as such when I first started watching FIM and it was only at uni last year when someone called me a brony that I became familiar with the term. Finding this place was my first/ still only real interaction with the fandom and I love it here so no problems here

Nope, when I first stumbled across the Brony fandom I was mainly confused. I wasn't sure if it was a trolling thing or some inide joke I didn't get. Once I found out what it was I was largely disinterested. I have friends from loads of fandoms and intrests. Liking MLP isn't that far out.

Well, it was more like stereotyping. Because of how girly the previous incarnaions were, I thought I'd never have an interest in it. I still find g1-3.5 unwatchable, unless I am in a VERY good mood, but fim is a vast improvement. I didn't even know what a brony was until a friend of mine online told me, and got me interested. I haven't looked back since.

I was, I used to play team fortress 2 a lot, in every sever I played, there was a lot of bronys, and in the community I was too, they annoyed me, but I said, what if I watch the series? To see what is that all about, I thought it was very girly by the first 5 minutes, but then I liked it, at the end of season 1 I was a brony xD

No my friend I have never been a hater or someone that bullies or hated anyone that liked the show, I even watch the show sometimes but alot of people I know don't understand what it is with bronys or anyone who likes the show.
