Octavia or DJ PON3?

Music wise I prefer Vinyl scratch, you know techno, dub-step etc, BUT I prefer Octavia personality wise, shes more sophisticated and calm.

Vinyl Scratch over Octavia. And to my knowledge (headcanon ftw) Vinyl does all Electronic genres, not just Techno and Dubstep. Which blows classical out of the water imo

If I had to choose one, then I guess it would be Octavia. As much as I prefer electronic/dubstep/techno music over classic music, Octavia is just so classy and elegant... But it's really, really hard to decide! D:

 

I like Octavia because of her character in general, but I also like Vinyl Scratch (DJ-PON3) because of her music.

Vinyl is too damn overrated. She would have almost no fans if she didn't have that hair or those goggles. I don't like either of them, but I dislike Vinyl more. Music wise, I dislike both classical ad electronic music.

Octavia without a doubt. I must admit I prefer swing, do-wop, harmonized vocals, and jive to classical, but come on. Octavia can probably branch out from classical too. I've been known to play some bluegrass cello myself. Just because it's a classical instrument doesn't have to limit it.

Personally I think that I would like Vinyl more, but you said it depended on musical style. As I still love brony techno/dubstep, nothing beats classical music!

I cant decide I always do homework and other stuff while listening to each type of music and they're both pleasant to listen to.

 

On the other hand Classical music is great music to sleep to lol.

I find it really hard to decide between them. This is mostly because neither of them do much of anything at all. Most of what people like about one or the other is pure fanfiction. Not that I think it's wrong, per se, but I personally can't judge a character based on what other fans have made up about them. At least Derpy actually has lines and has been incorporated into the storyline of an episode. I still mostly like her when she appears in odd or random places as a FBGE (funny background event) rather than for her short voiced (twice) appearance. Octavia looks nicer, IMO, but until they actually are made a relevant part of an episode, that's not enough to say I like her more than Vinyl Scratch.

I like techno better than classical, but that doesn't mean I have to like DJPON3 better than Octavia. DJ's cool, but Octavia is a beautiful pony with a more refined personality who plays her own instrument/s. So pony-wise, I'd have to go with her.

Octavia. Not only do I prefer her genre of music, but I much prefer her apparent class and sophistication. As was pointed out before me, I also like the fact that she makes her own music, as opposed to DJ who just plays discs.

Yep, I prefer Octavia. Don't get me wrong, I love Vinyl, but I just prefer Octavia. In terms of design and taste in music I believe her to be superior. Then again, Octavia is my favourite bg pony overall... so yeah :L
