I just got Assassin's Creed I and II (finally!) I've been playing Skyrim mostly, and the Sims 2. My computer crashes whenever I play Sims 3.

All I've been really playing lately is Minecraft. I did just recently decide to do another play-through of LoZ:Ocarina of Time though.

 

Also, has anyone here played the SNES game "Clock Tower"? I find it's a fun game to play with a small group of friends at a sleepover or something.

Currently, I'm in the middle of playing EarthBound on the Super Nintendo. It's an underrated RPG that has gained a cult following over time. Check it out if you get the chance!

So I'm playing Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, and Scratches: Directors Cut through Steam, run on WINE. The playing kind of lacks since I'm running it on a non-native environment, but the games themselves are pretty intense.

Especially Call of Cthulhu. I'm not a fan of mystery as much as horror, but this game really blends the two well. I recommend it.

What I suggest if you try out the Dead Space and F.E.A.R games, those are some good 'beginner' horror games.

If you're looking for something more with puzzles to it, I'd definitely recommend Amnesia: The Dark Descent and the Penumbra games. Both are by the same company.

Dead Space, yes. That is a great beginner horror game. FEAR.... I'd disagree with actually. To this day that game still feels... wrong.
