I've grown quite fond of Gravity Falls it has the perfect seting just like MLP where day-to-day stuff can just happen and still have a reasonable plot as well. Also Adventure Time and Regular Show on Cartoonetwork are also pretty decent shows. Retro-wise i like watching early-2000's cartoons especially a show called Cyberchase becaused it helped me with math problems.

I have a lot, but my favorite would have to be Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends. Unlike most people here, I'm not an adult who was raised on da classics, I grew up with mostly the middle era of Cartoon Network, or the GOLDEN era of CN. Fosters was the main show I grew up with. Everything about this show was fun as hell! It still even holds up today!

 

Let me tell you, Faust and McCracken are GENIUSES. Seriously, they make the best shit! Can't wait to see McCracken's new show coming soon to the Disney Channel!

Aw, oldies but goodies... Well, let's see. I always loved Clifford the Big Red Dog, Arthur, and Dragon Tales. Those were my three absolute favorites.

 

I think Dragon Tales was my all time favorite. I just loved it so much. I'm sad that they barely put it on television anymore; it was such a fun show. It will always remain a huge part of my childhood.

 

More recently, I've loved Phineas and Ferb. The whole idea of that show is brilliant, and the songs are extremely well written.

Ed, Edd, n' Eddy is freaking legit. Major props to you. Before My Little Pony, Ed, Edd, n' Eddy was my favorite cartoon of all time.

 

I also love Samurai Jack and Megas XLR, both of those shows are most excellent.

I hated Ed, Edd, n' Eddy when it was in its premiere runs & first reruns back on CN in the end of the 90s - perhaps, the animation was too ugly & humour too dynamic. Now, watched an episode of it, I realized it was the best pre-Spongebob show.

I understand your tick about the animation early on, but I was able to overcome that and I've been a fan ever since it came out.

My favorite cartoon as a kid is Sonic the Hedgehog the older one. Also Inspector Gadget was EPIC. Freakazoid was another good one. The 80 Robotech was one I never finished as a kid.There are so many old cartoons that were good. Its sad we lost some like The Bugs Bunny and Tweety show because it was sooooo violent and bad for kids to watch. Still good memories of my childhood.
