on the internet i don't care who knows, but in RL, only my bro, cousin, and 1 of my friends know. non of them are bronies but they don't judge me cuz they know me (and they are scared to get me mad cuz iv'e won more fist fight then they'v had birthdays.... but that was before FiM... i love and tolerate now :) )

I haven't told anybody in real life that I watch MLP. I don't plan on doing so either. I could see the news that I'm a brony spreading around the school very quickly.

I'm open on the internet. Completely open on the internet, but not in RL, if I told everyone I'll get so much hate, and all my friends will laugh at me, for now its a secret IRL. Well until further notice ;] I haven't bought any toys yet... But I plan too, I have no idea how I'm going too, It will be completely awkward walking down a pink iel. I guess I'm just have to stick with the hate...

Well if it's that hard for you to do, and you want to be sneaky about it...( if you're really REALLY paranoid you can be a perfectionist and set up a fake conversation and dialogue of you being resistive or just delete all your text messages before you start doing this)

 

1. Have someone you trust send you a picture of the toy you want as a text message attachment to your phone reading "This is the toy she wants thank you ^_^" to your cellphone

 

2. Walk into a store, and just go up to someone in the toy section and be like "Hey, what's this and where do I find it?" holding your phone up.

 

3. (Optional) take a picture of it and say "Hey I got it"

 

4. Shop freely and if anyone asks about it, just be like "My family member's name couldn't find it in her area and they don't like dealing with online stuff. So they asked me to do them a favor. Kinda a hassle, but what ever."

 

5. ???

 

6. Profit!

Thats a good idea! I'm going to try it! :) I was also thinking of buying a birthday card and the toy together and then when im at the till, the lady will think i'm buying it for my sister:D

Well. Telling the whole world is pretty open.

 

I have over 5,000 posts on a pony forum, pony in every social place I own, and I draw ponies and sing ponies everyday.

 

Yeah, I don't think i'm very open :c

I'm fairly open about it. Enough that people that I aren't really aquainted with would possibly know. During the school year which recently ended. I was in a position where I was known to most of the student body (Well, most of the senior student body), being a Prefect. And I've friends who openly do pony related things on their Facebook and discuss it in public. While I join in. I wouldn't initiate.

 

For example, last week I learnt that one of my friends knew because she texted me that there were MLP cookies on sale at the supermarket. I had no knowledge of her knowing before that fact.

 

That being said, I dislike people who would balantly try to push bronyism, for lack of a better word, onto others relentlessly. I've converted roughly 7 people by now, and my 2 closest friends are adamant about MLP. I've had them watch the pilot episodes and a few others, they laughed, yes, but said they wouldn't be interested in the rest of the series. So I dropped it.

 

Anyway, people don't sem to mind. Well, people I'm aquainted all the way to close friends don't. There's sometimes some light joking, of course, but that's true of all things, really. Especially with the New Zealander culture.

I'm not open about it. Some co-workers were singing "My Little Pony" in jest as they were stocking toys. One co-worker I talked to in the break room was talking about how he saw some MLP fans at a convention but he didn't know the word. I said "Do you mean a Brony?" and he was like "YEAH that's it. What is that?" I replied with "It's about guys that like MLP. I did some research and..."

 

I went into how it's created by Lauren Faust, how Hasbro went to Lauren to make the show to push the toys, and how it seems to have a growing following. I never mentioned I was into it, but I'll come out as a Brony after he tells me "dude I'm a Brony"

 

He's got a lot of similar tastes to me and he watches Powerpuff Girls, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and Powerpuff Girls Zeta (japanese PPG)

 

So... more than likely I've made another Brony. There's strength in numbers. :P

Don't really go out of my way to show my love for ponies, and I haven't really told anybody my love for ponies outside of my close group of friends. Don't even want to think about what my mom and dad think. But my wallpapers for all my devices are pony related.

I'm pretty open about it. I pretty much told my parents, all of my friends, and all of my classes. They really don't mind. Of course, I'm known to be... Random, so I'm sure some people think I was joking around.

i am not really open at all because im afraid if any of my best friends or my boyfriend find out they will laugh at me and tell veryone and ruin my life. my friend who got me to watch this show she is so open even her math workshop teacher know that she watches ponys. i am just not open at all
