Who else finds this unfair?

Okay so my parents are going to mexico, I have plans tomorrow. Its like they did it on purpose. My sister and brother don't apparently until like next week. Then my parents are forcing me to go with them, and they choose me instead of my older brother or sister. They said they didn't want to go. They said ok and let them stay. I said it, they said no.

Who else finds this unfair and stupid? I do, and I find it odd. It's like if their doing it on purpose just because I have plans tomorrow

I find that rather odd.  I mean if you don't want to go, you don't want to go.  If your parents knew you had plans why would they force you to go?  Actually that is rather unfair, did you get any reasoning behind why your parents are forcing you to go.

I asked why and how come my older bro and sis don't need too. They said their "responsible". Yea my sis can't do almost anything on her own. Then my bro, well he actually is. So there's a reason for my bro staying but I'm responsible also. Which I find unfair and strange

I agree 100% if you don't want to go you shouldn't have to. They should just leave you be instead of forcing you to go somewhere out of the blue. :/

That does sound rather aggravating/unfair.... but then again when has life ever been fair  <_< . I have been through these kinds of situations numerous times with my parents too. There really is nothing you can do about it either which sucks.... I would try asking them to let you stay and if that fails... well you are s.o.l.

Actually if I go with them, I'm only one there at the back seats of the car. So I can play dubstep music without my bro annoying me and I can watch mlp without my bro calling me gay for watching it. I guess I have minor advantages from going actually

Well then.... at least there is a positive side to your unfair situation. Even though there is more negative than positive. But hey... maybe things could get interesting, who knows.

Yeah just look on the bright side of everything... uh, I don't see the motivation of them doing this to you though? just to piss you off?

To be honest, they've been acting odd towards me since I started to like mlp.

I guess their doing something to keep me away from this website maybe. It doesnt look obvious but it will if they keep doing stuff like this

Hmm.... that is a little odd. And I wouldn't jump to any assumptions or anything, but I think it might be worth something to keep an eye out for anymore stuff that would hint to you that that's what they are doing. I'm pretty sure that there are some parents that will act different when it comes to their child liking mlp.

There might be another underlying cause instead of that one... but yeah keep looking for more signs, has this been something recurring? Like has it just been happening with the smallest things or with big ones like this?

I'm starting to notice their doing stuff like this to me more and more often as the months pass by. I guess I can say it happens with both small and big things

Well I don't really see any way around this terrible circumstance, I have 2 brothers and they are usually considered more responsible than me, even though one brother broke his beats twice this month and one broke his smartphone twice this month. Parents are really stubborn, and most likely won't listen to reason. If I were you I would just roll with it with a good attitude in the hopes that your parents won't force you on another trip. On the other hand, being a complete troll could force your parents to rethink bringing you out in public, but both of the options are rather absurd.

umm.... would you care in sharing an example of both a small and big thing? I mean... it would be interesting to here what these things are. If you don't mind that is.

Well, it is unfair. I think it is one of the perks of being the youngest sibling? If everyone else says no, then "it" is your job. On the other hand, I don't have any siblings, so that's just what the trees told me.

Anyway, life isn't fair. And as you get older, it gets worse and much more unfair, that much I can promise you.

I don't wanna be a complete troll or a troll tho

And if I was, my parents would've thoguht my brain is messed up. Well while there are major disadvantages, at least I have 2 minor advantages that I only see when I'm home alone or in my room

Small thing, happened recently.

My sis sweared/cussed to my dad and they took the blame on me....I was completely innocent i can even prove it to you ppl also

Big thing, Dec. 21, after school. They noticed I posted on facebook a Skype chat log of me talking to a student from my class that doesn't go to my school anymore. Because of all the swearing and stuff in the chat log. They basically punished me because she (old student, aka the one that doesnt go to my school anymore) was swearing and I didnt even swear/cuss at all in the chat. It isn't my fault I cant control what ppl say and chat about -.-

Mexico eh? Have fun, and watch out for those pesky cartels!

(Just kidding, but seriously though, you're pretty lucky to be able to go to Mexico on a whim like that)

hmm.... well there is obviously a huge attitude behavior towards you. But I don't see any connection having to do with mlp and how they are treating you.

I live on the border and I am always informed about killings that have been going on on the other side. Justicorn is right. Be very careful.

Disadvantages:

* Can't finish planned dubstep song

* Plans ruined tomorrow

* no Internet = no mlp so ima be kinda bored

* idk most relatives so ima feel left out

* going to cousins house dec. 31

* back from mexico, time to sleep is midnight

Advantages:

* I can listen to dubstep w/o bro being annoying

* I can watch mlp w/I bro calling me gay and stuff

* I get to know a little more about relatives

Well this was posted in the off-topic section, so as it is not related to the show, it's fine to be discussing the current topic.

The killings, that's what scares me kinda.

Well I think positive most of the time but the killings that happen. I dont wanna die at age 13

Edit: this was completely obvious about them, ever since they found out I like mlp my dad has been acting more strict on me, I have proof. Proof is, comparing how they treated me prior August 2012. And after August 2012 even my friends notice it too.

I guess the only thing you can do for now is enjoy the little advantages that you have currently. Most of life is not fair and over the years you learn to just accept the small stuff.

I find that unfair too. I hope you can explain somehow to them that you dont want to go. Or if you have to go,then ruin the vacation. Thats my advice.

Yeah I do think it's unfair why should you do something you don't want to?

Well at least your trying to deal with it as there's nothing you can do.

ruin the vacation. Thats my advice.

I agree! Well I would do it because I'm a revengeful brute but it usually back fires on me .
