Definitely one of my favorite bands, if not my favorite. First song I heard was Bat Country, which is probably what most people first heard by them, and I've really liked them ever since. Favorite songs are probably Afterlife, Blinded in Chains(top 2), Radiant Eclipse, Dear God, Save Me, Buried Alive, Turn the Other Way, and... pretty much all the rest, save for a few stinkers from Diamonds in the Rough(which came with the awesome live DVD, so all is forgiven). I also really like their recently released song, Carry On, and can't wait to see what they do next without the Rev, who will be sorely missed.

Now we're talking fandom! I was surprised no one created a topic like this seeing as how there's quite a few A7X fans on these forums.

I have a good feeling their next album will be great. It is sad that we won't ever hear The Rev's awesome drumming talent ever again. Or his angelic (demonic to some :3 ) voice either.

Quite a few people I know have said that. To be honest, if it weren't for hearing Matt's voice on So Far Away I probably wouldn't have stuck with them. You should go listen to that and see if it changes anything.

 

 

Anways, can't wait for their next album! They're already working on recording for it this month. :3

-Crossroads-pretty good.

-The Fight-okay.

Certainly my favourite, followed by Little Piece of Heaven.

 

Although I HAVE been attempting to be a bit more gentle and fluffy and whatnot of late, especially after joining this site, but A7X is simply too brilliant to deny.

Well at least you weren't like some that I know and just say you dislike them without actually giving their music a try.

That's okay then I guess, though only their first two albums were metalcore, they have four and a very close to five non-metalcore albums.

It was the first Avenged Sevenfold song that I could call my favorite for a very long time, back when I didn't like their metalcore. I really loved the duel solo at the end and I guess I'ts just a general good song. I don't know, but that's my opinion about it.

I never cared much for those songs, or anything from that album for that matter (except critical acclaim and ALPOH).

Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed are both in my top three favorite bands, yeahhhhh

 

Unholy Confessions isn't a bad song, but I think it's a bit overrated, all the other songs on that album are better in my opinion.

Most definitely, it is by no means their best work but i just absolutely love that intro.
