Because believe it or not, AB has recieved more airtime than her sister.

I would defiantly have to agree with that in the newer episodes AJ has her major one or two episodes and then you rarely see her throughout the rest she needs more screen time and we should show some love

I think that applejack is a really good character. Southern accents sound really great if put with the correct character design. Plus when I watch an AJ episode, I just think ' I'm gonna get that hat someday '. =)

Most people have that headcanon that it belonged to her father and it's important for her.

But even if it's not true, I still can relate I mean, I hate it when others take my personal belongings not asking. Especially my phone. I have nothing to hide but I still don't like it. Maybe AJ feels the same.
