Hello, mares and gentlecolts! Could only manage to get in here now, was kinda busy.

 

Also started to read Rarity and the curious case of Charity and pretty much finished it in one sitting. Its pretty damn good, clear recommendation.

Like Andaasonsan said some time ago, i think it's pretty much spot on. So, yeah, i thought she was pretty good.

 

Edit: What i also liked very much, it showed pretty nicely how much respect Rares now has in the fashion business.

What's your favorite Rarity episode?

 

Mine's Rarity Takes Manehattan; it not only was a pivotal point for our fanbase, because it was "the episode that made me like Rarity" to many people, but it displayed her so perfectly, and my heart almost popped several times while I was watching it :wub:

 

It's easily the best episode of the series for me...what else do you need in a good Rares episode? :D

And that episode has been the cause of your existence(before that episode,i remember you not writting on purple :o :o )

 

Basically,that episode created one of the strongest,if not the strongest fanbase of the fandom(Appeljack the 2nd one ^_^ )

When I joined, Rarity fans would always passively take the beating. When I first started getting know for Rarity, I remember a couple of members messaged me to tell me that they were secretly Rarity fans, but didn't want to admit it because no one seemed to like her -_-

 

The fandom was really hard to access for Rarity fans for a long time. People made it rough on us, particularly the Dash fans, I noticed.

 

I dunno. I just got tired of it all one day and I just started defending her. I got really, really harsh a couple of times and even got an abusive behavior warning once when I was defending her. I ended up exerting patience while I did it, though, and it really made all the difference.

Pretty soon, though, I saw Rarity fans stop just taking the beating and rising up, and it really warmed my heart to see. After that episode, a huge shift in momentum happened in the fandom. We used to be weak, but now we are stronger :D

 

I'm glad to see the way this fandom has changed; it's a lot more accessible to Rarity fans now. It used to be people were scared to like her. Now? It's much different :D

 

Things truly are great right now :D I'm glad to be able to know I helped in making these forums more accessible to the best fanbase :D

Hate to be the one to point it out, but after the discussion on pages 133/134, these images right here are the reason I started avoiding this topic. That image is 4MB and 4000x5100, more then double most computer monitor resolutions and potentially 10 times larger then phones, tablets, netbooks, etc which all have specs vastly weaker then my desktop. If these images cause lag on my desktop when scrolling, they would probably cause those devices to explode.

 

If you aren't uploading from your computer, and are only going to link to a url image...

@Obsidian Sky, just remember we agreed on a spoilering images rule a couple of pages back to prevent scroll lag :D I know you didn't know this, and I take responsibility for not pointing it out :( Just keep doing what your doing, though, man, just slap a spoiler on the large pictures :D
