Book Rarity can reshape reality at will, so she's pretty damn powerful. Also she understands which shades of brown only look good as accents.

I'm in the Rarity Fan Club so this so gonna be disagreed with but I actually think that Trixie would win. Not because of the power of the Book being weaker than the Amulet, I think the Inspiration Manifestation shows more ability to warp it's surroundings than we saw the Amulet display. She changed an entire city in a matter of minutes, more or less. But I think the key is intent. Rarity would have to imagine turning Trixie into something that would defeat her, like a puddle or something, and even at her lowest during that whole spell of madness Rarity was creating, not destroying.

 

What I think as a result of this is that Rarity wouldn't have it in her, at any point, to turn the book's power against Trixie before she was fried by the Amulet's magic.

So, well. I actually liked this episode, even though dark mistress Rarity was pretty scary. Not my favorite by a long strech, but not bad imho. Rarity was influenced by the spell and she even had amnesia at the end. Im kinda relived.

 

And Rarity eating ice cream on her drama longue and going "nomnomnom" was just too cute.

Pinkamena, Lesson Zero Twilight, Assertive Fluttershy... They don't even have excuses. Rarity's only ever turned because of external influences, so surely that's a point in her favor against the others?

The good side is that Rares has been possessed in the comics and the show now. The chance that they do it again are rather slim.

That episode today really threw me for a loop. First, I was patrolling the episode topic, reading every single post to make sure there wasn't any bull, now I'm just sad that Rarity had a curse thrown on her

 

I'm also hungry. I haven't eaten yet today.

I didn't like how it was bringing harm to everyone, though..

 

I blame Spike for everything. He's the one who created the problem by getting that dark magic spell, anyway.

I mean, it wasn't Rarity acting like that, but I hated seeing her possessed like that...

What are you talking about? She's always been like that. That's one of her most endearing qualities

 

She always does what's right in the end, though She'll be a diva, but she'll also do what's best for everyone and puts others first.

No, she's not abused by the writers, that's how she is  

 

She always picks herself right back up, though (well, usually - this episode and Suited for Success she needed some extra help ) and powers through.

 

Like, Sisterhooves Social? She broke down and cried, yeahh, but did you see her do everything she hated just to make it up to her sister? That's how Rarity is, and that's why I love her

She is such a strong girl, i think she is allowed to sometimes overreact. Seeing how much stress she has and how much pressure lasts on her because of her work.

 

Hay, i find it incredible cute when she does that. I want to hug her and never let go in these moments.
