Well, my concern comes from the fact that Digi pretty much owns the analysis community from what I've seen.

 

And at the risk of being presumptuous, his analysis of S&E was well... wrong.

 

His explanation of her motives was similar to the motives she actually gives but a twisted version of them.

 

And him saying she's bad at socializing with the Elites was very wrong.

There's a whole song about her being good at it.

He says she was bad at it because she had to lie but her lying merely illustrated the position she was in and the compromises she was making to be a good guest and avoid getting rejected.

 

So I'm concerned the well may get poisoned by a well meaning individual this time.

Tommy is our saving grace in the analysis community. His constant praise for Rarity is usually backed up by spot-on analysis. He's a good dude who knows what he's talking about, and he seems a respectable following in his own right.

 

(I've always thought Digi was full of shit, anyway )

Someone needs to get beside her in bed and hold her Let her know everything is going to be alright with a soft whisper...because she's a strong, independent mare, who can always overcome the odds and her own flaws and do what's right in the end

 

It'll all work out eventually...she's a beautiful mare, inside and out, and she can get over this obstacle

More or less, that's Bronycurious utterly thrashing that guy with reasons why Rarity is a great pony Bronycurious has a strong presence in the analyst community as well as a great knowledge of Rarity's character, so the Digi thing you brought up earlier isn't much to worry about as long as he's around

Speaking of analysis, i find it pretty telling that many of her haters accuse her of not being generous because she supposedly does not give many gifts away (which is wrong to begin with). This rather shows that many people have a wrong view of value today, they only see gifts of materialistic nature as generous, even though the gifts that Rarity so often gives, her time, chance of advancement in her career, her good reputation, are much more valuable than any materialistic gift.

 

The problem is not that Rarity is not generous, the problem is that people that accuse her of not being generous don't know what real generosity is. These people are like a goat that tries to be a gardener. They speak about something they have no clue of and will never have a clue of, but think they know everything. They are tainted by todays materialistic society and cannot see Rares true generosity because of that.
