I love like all dogs, they all have something interesting or adorable about them :P.

I have some biased love for Jack russels, seeing as my dog was a mix of Jack russel and some other things.

I also like husky's, Dalmatians, Pugs, Beagles, and many more.

Without my bias though I can't say I love a certain type as my favorite. My dads a vet to so I've seen a bunch of dogs :P.(I'm actually not very knowledgeable about them surprisingly.)

My mom has a couple of pugs, and I agree, they can be pretty cute. Especially the male pug that my mom has, he has a huge head and he's always carrying around a stuffed animal. He's pretty much the baby of the family :D

For me, it has to be jack russell terrier. My mom found one and she's so sweet and energetic and she even covers her face sometimes like she's acting shy. I think they have a ton of personality (although then again, I'm biased :D)

I used to prefer cats over dogs, but jack russell terriers won me over to the dog side.

I know there is a thread for this topic already, and I've already stated my opinion so I wasn't going to post here, but I could not possibly agree more with this. Jack Russels are the best

I don't know why I seem to be one of the only ones to like them but, borzois.

Your topic, 'What's your favorite breed of dog?' has been merged with 'Favorite breed of dog?' for fairly obvious reasons :3

None. Cats are better~

Well, my favourite would be poodles, but that's kinda biased, because I have one. :P

I just think they're really cute. And they don't shed hair, which is also a plus. I love Dachshunds as well. They're so cute with they're little stubby legs!

I LOVE Italian Greyhounds. They're like freaking magical blue pixie Dobby unicorns that roo and have the magical power of love. My favorite color is blue and white, especially with the blaze on the forehead.

img-1565085-1-ItalianGreyhoundInfo1.jpg

Reasons:

  • Most elegant-looking dog ever. (Aside from greyhounds and salukis, but they're related, so same diff.)
  • They're sight hounds. Which makes them more like humans. That means they can do stuff like watch TV with you (literally, watch) or bird-watching or things like that.
  • They're excellent at catch.
  • They're inherently goofy. Constant source of comedic relief. You can't be sad with an Iggy.
  • Very agile and incredible athletes.
  • Affectionate as anything. Velcro dogs.
I also like Cocker Spaniels. Floofy fluffer-nutters of fluffness. American? English? Both are good. My favorite color is black.

img-1565085-2-tumblr_m3ay07CqqH1qjcdw9o1

Reasons:

  • So. Fluffy. So soft. They're so great to pet, you just wanna pet them all the time.
  • Their eyes will melt your soul. You can't help but fall in love with them when you look into their eyes. They're like love-peddling Medusas.
  • They're always happy. They're always in a good mood. Very rarely will you see a Cocker in a mood other than happy.
  • Waggliest tails ever. Even when they're sad, even when they're angry, even when they're scared, they can't help but wag at least a little bit of their tails. And when they're happy, they're so waggly, they wanna wag their tail so hard that their entire back end wags too.
  • So sweet. You can't help but love. You cannot resist. Try. You will fail. So charming.
While I've never owned one (and probably never will just due to the size,) another one of my favorites is the Golden Retriever. Fits the phrase "man's best friend" to a T. My favorite color is red.

img-1565085-3-dark-golden-and-light-one.

Reasons:

  • They aim to please. One of the most obedient dogs. Thus, they're easy to train and thus make very mannerly dogs.
  • Very friendly and loving. That's probably why they're so willing to please - they attach to people very easily.
  • They're very pretty dogs, but have a good over-all attractiveness. Cute enough for the people who like cute dogs, but sleek and standard enough for those who don't. Like a cool sports car.
  • They have an excellent temperament. Another dog you won't often find in a bad mood, which makes you wanna be around them.
I love almost every dog breed, but I think those are definitely my top favorites.

I don't know why I seem to be one of the only ones to like them but, borzois.

Yes, Borzois are totally awesome! They look so cool. And they're a sight hound, and I love sight hounds.

German Sheperd.

Wonderful dogs, a machine of a breed.

So loyal, too. Not the least bit dangerous, if trained right.

On the other hand, they need a lot of space and exercise.

I've never been much of a dog person, they're too hyperactive for me, but I've always liked labradors. They're just so goofy and fun that you can't dislike them.

Y'know, I've been on this site for almost ten years and I've never had a proper signature. Ain't that something?

German Shepherd, Labrador, Rottweiler, Pompek, and Dascshunds.

I love all these breeds, especially because my cousin has a pompek, and my grandfather has daschunds, and I have a couple labrador/rottweiler mixed dogs. Plus, my dad just LOVES German Shepherds, and I seem to have just inherited that love for them from him.

My grandparents used to have this huge Bullmastiff that was so sweet and cuddly that you'd hardly believe that it was 125 pounds of muscle. They've been my favorite ever since. So freakin' huge, yet so sweet.

Staring beyond; up past the moon - - - will we reach the stars yet soon?

Met quick with loss; no sure response - - - men reach up high with their thoughts.

How high it goes; still no one knows - - - the likes of which search thick in droves.

Yet looking far; up near the stars - - - truth knows no better than we are.

With silver thread; and clouded head - - - blissful 'neath the darkened dune.

I love Borzois, they're docile, quiet, and very loving. They pretty much act like a well behaved cat.

They're graceful and light on their feet, then can snap into a full-fledged hunter once they've

spotted their pray. Like @notdog1996 said, they're like a mix of a deer and a wolf.

Icelandic Sheepdog.

This is Stig, he's almost 2 years old and one of the happiest dogs I've ever had.

P1010003.JPG

He's not 'breed standard' though, as he's a touch bigger than normal and his ears didn't perk up as they were supposed to. He's still purebred, it's just an odd glitch that apparently shows up in his particular bloodline, and seems to be connected to the tricolor (black, tan, & white), according to the experts in Iceland we talked to.

My ALL TIME favorite breed is the English Toy spaniel! They are small perfect little breeds that help the world go around XD. They are closely related to the cocker spaniel too! And my other favorite breed will always be the dalmatian due to their uniqueness and how every dalmatian is different!

I never really thought about it before despite being a dog person, I guess my favourite breed is the breed of my current companion named Benson, and we share a strong bond. He's an Australian Shepard/Border Collie.

I love Rottweilers (I personally have one), Labradors, German Shepherds and my favourite being the Siberian Husky. I really like all the breeds that resemble wolves. I've even seen people have pet Arctic Foxes.

Seeing as my dog Lola is a German Shorthaired pointer, I'd have to say that is the best breed of dog.
They're really loyal, they're bred to hunt, and they're just cool.

I'm more of a mutt man myself. I love mutts, because they are typically healthier than pure breed dogs because all of the impurities are bread out of them. Also, most mutts are rescues, and I rescue all the time. Have two mutts, love them all the death and they're the best dogs ever. smile.png
