Cute Dashie Sketch. :3

Okay I made a little sketch for my friend. :3 It's a little picture of filly Rainbow Dash before she got her cutie mark. (mostly because I didn't feel like drawing them. xD) Anyways, if there is anyone who wishes to give a critique they are most welcome to do so. Comments are also welcomed!

 

 

Sorry the color seems a bit off. x.x I don't really have a working scanner so a picture is all I can manage at the moment. Very sorry.

Looks adorable mayby his butt is a bit to oversized and you should've added "Rub ma belly :D" or something like that, that would be hilarious

Overall, it's a really well-drawn picture, but there are a few things I noticed:

• The flank is a bit wide
• The hooves are pointy
• The wings are small and the feathers are more pointy than they should be
• The muzzle is... interesting.

Don't get me wrong, I like the picture. Also, do you draw manga or something similar because judging by the way you drew the mane and eyes, it looks like it. It's a really neat style.

Thank you. :3 I wasn't quite sure where to put the legs, so I'll try to fix that next time I draw a pony sitting. I really don't draw manga or anime things at all, I just draw hair and manes like that normally. Plus I wanted to make her extra fluffy.   I used to draw eyes in manga style but I strayed away from it since most of it didn't fit in my artwork.

The edge of the legs should have been hidden behind the forelegs. I usually just draw hidden stuff lightly, and then anything that is covered up I erase. Then I go over it again and make it darker.

Oh, I see what you mean. XD  I'll be sure to draw them that way next time. Thank you. And I'll try the draw lighter thing. I've drawn for quite some time now, and I still cannot do that properly. x.x

Of course, no problem. I draw quite a lot myself, but I still have a bit to learn. I usually have trouble with poses and things like that. Once again, nice picture.
