ClaireRae 12 February 3, 2013 Share February 3, 2013 Is it wierd if I don't drink coffee? I mean, I get up at like, 5:00 am every morning, but it still doesn't appeal to me. I like hot chocolate though, and I'll buy the peppermint kind to wake me up.

Doc told me I need to cut down.. its like great very thing I want.. is bad for me or illegal... ahh oh well, but I do love coffee and seeing a coffee thread is kind of cool! Klopp 2,050 December 2, 2013 Share December 2, 2013 I dislike coffee. Any time the smell invades my nostrils, I will immediately turn the opposite direction to avoid it. I have tried coffee before, and to me the taste was quite revolting. It certainly does have a hell of a lot of flavor to it, but every ounce of that flavor, to me at least, is just plain nastiness. Drinking the stuff is pretty unhealthy for you anyways, so it's probably a good thing I don't like it. :
noodlepup3 31 December 2, 2013 Share December 2, 2013 (edited) If we're having a coffee thread, then I must include this video. How To Correctly Add Milk To Your Coffee But yeah, an Americano is the coffee for me. They just started serving it in the café at school, and I buy one most mornings. I love HowToBasic! So funny! I hate coffee though but I only have it to dip biscuits in it. Edited December 2, 2013 by noodlepup3 "I have always liked ponys and I always will." Harmonic Revelations 8,835 December 2, 2013 Share December 2, 2013 French Vanilla instant because I don't usually have time to make anything fancy, I drink around three cups a day. I honestly prefer tea over coffee, anyways.
Thuja 3,659 December 2, 2013 Share December 2, 2013 I usually have coffee from a basic mr.coffee drip machine(or whatever it's called) and grind my own beans, though I do also have this french vanilla instant mix that I love terribly that I get from Bulk Barn. I usually have cream with my coffee but sometimes I like to drink it black, or I'll just get a cup of Timmies(tim hourtons) if I'm on the go. Frith is Magick 1,471 December 2, 2013 Share December 2, 2013 Half a pot of black coffee every morning, otherwise I can't function. I like a medium roast, a nice balance between flavour and caffeine, plus many places tend to burn dark roast. I avoid Starbucks and other such coffee places, they are always severely over-priced. 1 Keep flyin'

duidamasterXD 9,627 December 2, 2013 Share December 2, 2013 Since I've started college, I've found myself drinking a lot more coffee mostly out of a desire to get energy. I'd drink more if I didn't have to make it all myself every time I wanted some, and if I had anything to put in it. I drink most of my coffee completely black these days, but I greatly prefer to add a ridiculous amount of sugar, cream, etc, to it, to the point where it can hardly be called coffee anymore . People have taken sips of my coffee in the past and described it as revoltingly sweet. But there's no such thing, really
crazitaco 596 December 2, 2013 Share December 2, 2013 (edited) I have butterscotch coffee grounds. Hnnnnnggg so good. I'm more of a tea person, but I do love me some coffee. I typically like iced coffee better because hot coffee makes my tummy hurt, and I use a moderate amount of sugar and creamer. Flutter's lover <3 8,206 December 2, 2013 Share December 2, 2013 Couldn't live without it. I have it in the morning and after dinner. I'll drink whatever kind. Though my neighbor gave me some Fair Trade coffee I wanna tryout....supposed to be really good.I don't have a french press to properly make it, but the "My K-Cup" for our Keurig will do. Seems every time me and my friend go out we end up going to Tim Hortons....Their coffee is bucking awesome. I usually order it at Tim's with 2 cream and 2 sugar (Or as we call it Double Double)We have one Starbucks and it's in our new Target, and I find Starbucks to be horrible coffee. But their baked stuff is pretty good. I'm also Canadian, and we generally have a natural love of coffee.....so much so we have 5 Tim Hortons in my town 4 of which are 5 minutes or less biking distance from my house. Go to the big cities and it's the same....nearly a Tim Hortons on every corner. Starbucks on the other hand, you'll be hard pressed finding one...they're not that common here. 1 Fluttershy's lover, she's my waifu. Go to the big cities and it's the same....nearly a Tim Hortons on every corner I know exactly what you are talking about. There are two Timmies in my university, one on either end, it's wonderful. What I was actually going to say: coffee is like the bagpipes, the greatest thing in the world to some people, absolutely horrible to others. I am not a fan of places like Starbucks. I'm all in favour of a cultural experience, but that does not include needing to learn Italian just to order a coffee. Creamy Arty 6,252 December 4, 2013 Share December 4, 2013 Since my last post here, I've discovered the joy of Keurig. Many varieties are readily available for it that aren't for ordinary coffee makers. My favorites of the few I've tried are the Dark Magic blend by Green Mountain (which is owned by Keurig) and Newman's Own. The latter of which is a medium roast. Dark Magic is, as you might have expected, an extra bold dark roast. As before, breakfast blends don't do it for me. Tastes too watery. Stay away from Grove Square. The lightness of the box struck me as suspicious. At home I discovered the horrific truth behind this sophisticated name - it's instant coffee. Why would anyone package instant coffee in a K-cup?! It's no better than instant coffee you would buy in a jar and make with hot water on your own! Now, I do appreciate a cup of instant coffee, but not for what this stuff costs, and I certainly don't see a reason to buy some for a Keurig. How absurd. 1 Kyoshi made this ^^ Come join us on Equestria.tv on Fridays at 6 PM Eastern for our weekly movie nights!

Sugar Cube 4,843 December 4, 2013 Share December 4, 2013 (edited) I try really hard not to drink a lot of coffee so I usually limit myself to one cup a day. I won't drink black coffee mostly because I can't stand it, but also because I don't really need the energy boost. Instead I load up my coffee purely because I enjoy the taste of it. I usually throw in two packs of whatever sweetener I have on hand since I like to avoid sugar if at all possible (ironic given my username right?) But don't get me wrong, I love sugar and would use it if all else was unavailable. I also throw in a few drops of coffee creamer too. French vanilla is probably the flavor I use most, but I am certainly not picky. My coffee used to be so grotesquely sweet, but nowadays I like it a little stronger. fimdash 1,196 December 4, 2013 Share December 4, 2013 I like coffee a lot I can drink it black, but I prefer to drink it with cream and sugar. I usually have instant coffee since it's fast to make and I have to wake up early for school. It's funny, I actually drink the stuff mainly out of habit and for the taste oh, and to be hip too. A lot of people need it to feel awake in the morning, but I usually feel pretty awake after I wake up even without it. Drinking it is just a great way to start the day, regardless of whether I actually need the caffeine for its effects or not. Speaking of caffeine, I've always wanted to try those caffeine pills. Hear they work really well.

Mightymags 1,053 December 4, 2013 Share December 4, 2013 HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS THREAD. Coffee is my life. Nothing feels more natural than having a cup of coffee in my hand. I'll pretty much drink coffee in any form, but I have to at least have cream in it. Although I have to say I prefer espresso drinks because there's such a wide range of combinations. I'm not addicted to it, there's just something very comforting about having it, especially in the morning. I could probably drink coffee all day, I don't really have a limit. I haven't been drinking as much coffee since I got to school since I no longer have a coffee maker or $2.50 mochas available. I do have probably one Starbucks drink a day because I can get it with my dining card. (A loophole my parents don't have to know about) Since my last post here, I've discovered the joy of Keurig. You make me miss having a Keurig We had one before they because really popular because we're hipsters because it was a gift. Then it broke and no one ever bothered to replace it. There was something that made getting out of bed easier when I knew I was only a button press away from the glorious liquid. RIP Keurig. :'(
