Describe Discord's voice

He has such a unique and charismatic voice, especially for a male character in this series, so I thought it would be fun to see how people would describe his accent, intonation, and turn of speech. B)

Do your best!

I explain it as John de Lancie. Or maybe even Q from Star Trek, but that might be stretching it. That's pretty much spot on perfect, no?

This, I don't think theres a good way to explain it other then saying John De Lancie :P.

Discords voice is really awesome though, I'm not sure what you'd categorize it as. Not that I'm experienced with that type of thing anyways though.

Does anyone actually know John de Lancie's accent? I'd venture a guess that t's probably in the Standard American family, but the diphthongs are are a bit unusual. I suspect he developed it as part of his training as an actor.

De Lancie sounds just like Discord in real life....it was surreal meeting him at BronyCon. It was like...Discord being really polite. XD

As to his voice, charismatic. He sounds so sure of himself, powerful and playful.

its sweet and terrible like a mad man's lullaby discord is overall an interesting character to have on the show and being voiced by John De Lancie doesn't hurt

It sounds a bit nasally, but also a bit ruff, with a soft, cool, breathy breathy attitude to it. There are dramatic qualities to it too, like the emphasis on key root sounds, and the wavy movement of his phrases.

Or just trolly.

Why are you dragging your cursor over my signature? Is there a problem here? Do you maybe expect something special? Honestly, that's kind of creepy. Are you trying to get as much information about me as possible? Maybe you're going to copy and paste this into onto your little collage or all things Lyra? (me, not the awesome BG pony...) You seriously have issues dude... I pity you.
